9 years later and this video was a better option than going to the mechanic just to wiggle the relay a bit. ❤

Thank you!!! As a single woman I could use all the help I can get on car repairs. And as much fun as it is to do hand signals in below freezing temps, I'm stoked to feel confident enough to give this a shot. You have no idea how much I appreciate you making such a helpful video!

Just bought my first Jeep, a 2004 Grand Cherokee. Your video was extremely helpful and saved me money. I had to re solder multiple pins due to cracks from years of stress bouncing down the road. It is a minor miracle that the solder held so many years supporting the weight of the massive copper relays on the circuit board. I would guess that almost 100% of the failures are the same design defect and anyone handy with a soldering iron can save money. Funny thing is just as I fixed this the window fell down as I closed the door. Welcome to Jeep ownership, on to the next repair video...

I literally smacked my dash and my blinkers came back, I'm mad it was that easy thanks for sharing your knowledge

Thanks! I took the relay out didn't have a solder gun so I went to buy a new relay but it was 65$! So I bought a 14$ solder gun and fixed it! You're the man

I've had this intermittent problem on my 2001 WJ for about 6 years. I watched this video, reflowed the solder on the connections and it worked! Thank you!

Awesome. To think how long I drove around with intermittent or not working turn signals when your instructions led me to a 20-minute repair. Now I'm making turns and changing lanes all day just because I can. Lol.

I had to change out the flasher fuse on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Everything you described in the video is the same except for the lower dash piece which has 3 screws and one bolt. Great video. Saved a lot of money doing it myself.

Thanks for taking the time to make and post this. We followed your procedure and it worked, saving us $70.00 for a new relay. Much appreciated! :)

Thank you, saved me a lot of time and money! I soldered just one cracked connection and now it works again. Without your video I would not know where the relay is not to talk about fixing it!

I want to personally thank you for making this video man. I don't even want to think about what a mechanic would charge for something as simple as this.

Thank you so very much you don't know how much of a blessing this video was. I'm a single mother and mentioned the blinkers didn't work and they said it was a relay and to look for it on youtube. So i did and i got it replaced. Thank you so very much

I just followed the instructions in this video and fixed my intermittent left and right blinker, which would both stop working for days at a time. I didn't have to remove as much of the dash to get access to the relay, and I only had to solder one connection, the one on the opposite end of the board as the one you soldered. I never would have tried this without seeing someone else do it. Saved some money and feel accomplished now! Thanks for posting, it was a big help.

Nicely done! I especially like how you demonstrated that the fix worked by testing your work. So many creators on TH-cam don’t do this.

Great video! I had an intermittent problem with my blinkers, but the hazards worked. Pulled the relay and saw cracked solder joints. Resolved them and now everything is working great. Thanks!
