Oh My Gosh! I so happy that I found this video. I'm brand new to DTF and don't know crap. After watching this video I have learn so much. Looking forward to you next videos. Thank you so much
It's really cool that you are answering all of the questions, and a lof of which were answered in the video. Thank you for taking the time to make the video! God bless.
Thank you for the kind words and support. I understand that this can be very confusing for a beginner, so I try to explain it in a way that everyone can understand. We all need a little help, sometimes.
thank you you really helped me to much to explain but i wasn't getting color simple fix just by watching you install and go over set up I some how unchecked color and white... ty!
Excellent video!! Wondering... if I have white filled letters, outlined in color, and plan to put on a white shirt, could I skip printing the white altogether?
For this, you would need to remove the white in your image, with your graphic editing software, such as Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop. I demonstrate how to do this in my DTF Printing Mastery Class.
Are you referring to the setup on the actual printer, or through AcroRip? If you want to change the ink configuration on the printer itself, it will really depend on the specific model printer that you're using. If you're using the Stylus Pro or SureColor Pro series, you would have to remove the chips from the refillable ink cartridges and swap the carts to the appropriate channels, while ensuring that the chips stay in the original channel, as each chip is flashed to correspond to that specific channel. If you need further help with doing this, please schedule a consultation with me and I will assist you personally. Here is my services page: www.popdtf.com/book-online
Within the color tab on the lower-right side of the screen, you should see a button that says setup, near the top-right of the screen. If you click on that button, you will see the ink configuration that is displayed within AcroRip. This configuration has to match exactly what is in the ink cartridges of your printer, or the colors won't print correctly. If you need 1 on 1 help with this issue, in a video call with me, please consider scheduling it on my services page at www.popdtf.com/book-online
Boa tarde, meu acrorip sempre está imprimindo a folha faltando parte do desenho, como se ele imprimisse apenas uma parte do desenho, e não a pagina A3 toda COnsegue me ajudar?
Hi, I have the Acrorip 10.3 software and Epson Stylus pro WT7900, how do I configure the software and printer for Sublimation, I've already cleaned the printer channels and loaded with sub inks. Thanks your help.
Under Color Management, what setting do you use for "Print Setting?" Do you leave it at User Defined Print Setting? There are DTF settings should I use one of those? Thx
If you're using the printing preferences option, you can leave color management at the default setting. The AcroRip will override the settings in the dialog box.
Just out of curiosity, If i had a sheet of A3+ film 13"x19" or what wver it is. What would be the max print area. I have heard that people have problems printing full page or near as. I wouldnt expect it to be borderless
From what I remember, I ended up having to leave around two to three inches of empty space at the end of the sheet. This is because the guide rollers have to be able to push the sheet through. So, around two inches represents the length of the print track, from the guide rollers. You'll just have to run a test print and see where it bottoms out
Hi I need help badly! I have changed my pixel from 1 to 5 but I’m still seeing a white outline around my words and images. I’m not quite sure what I’ve been doing wrong, but if you can help that would be GREAT!
In order to import multiple images into one job, you will need to upgrade to AcroRip 11, since it has the image nesting feature. We sell AcroRip v11 at popdtf.com. If you want to build a gangsheet for use with AcroRip v10, you will need to build it in your design software. I show you how to build a gang sheet in Adobe Illustrator, in my Mastery Class, found here: www.popdtf.com/challenges
You will need to go to the color tab, on the lower-right side of the screen. Near the top, where you see the ink limit percentage, in the white field, increase that percentage by a few percent, for the white to appear heavier. If your white layer is very thick, or the ink is pooling, you can also lower that percentage for white, and the printer will lay down, less ink.
You would need to find out which print head your printer uses and then find a printer on the list of compatible printers for AcroRip. Once you have that, it's probably certain; that they share the same driver. This is the only way to sort that out.
Hi i have a question i have a Epson printer and when i make a print en want to have it on a dark shirt with white it is not really white but it is light grey do you know why this is happening and what i can do to make things white on a dark underground?
You can try increasing the ink limit percentage for the white layer. If that doesn't help, you likely have partially clogged white nozzles and the printhead will need to be cleaned. You could also be experiencing ink starvation, which means that there is air caught in either the cartridge, ink lines, or dampers.
I'd start by doing a paper towel and Windex soak under the printhead for a minimum of 30 minutes. Once that sits, floss (shoe shine) the printhead, followed by a power clean - or at a minimum of 2 regular head cleans, waiting about 5 minutes between cleanings.
Be sure to go to the configuration menu for the ink channels. There could also be other printer related steps that need to be addressed, before troubleshooting in AcroRip. I also offer 1 on 1 setup help. You can check out my list of services, here: www.popdtf.com/book-online
First of all, VERY VERY cool and informative video THANK YOU for that and two thumbs up XD. For me, however, the color is NEVER as bright and true to color as it is for you and your settings ;-( ;-( I use an L1800 Precolored and even got extra black powder and NO improvements! :-( What am I doing wrong?? ? Could someone PLEASE help? THANK YOU in advance, Frank
Well, it would depend on the type of inks you're using and whether or not you have an ICC profile, for color management. You can also try to play around with the ink limit percentage values. How this will work is if you notice that the colors appear darker than you want, you can lower the ink limit percentage for color. If you want to schedule some hands-on training via video call, I also offer that as a service, here: www.popdtf.com/book-online
Very helpful. I just have a quick question. How can I remove background color from an image if I just want the logo transparent and not the background color around it? Thank you so much!
You can do it in photoshop, but I would have to see the image, in order to guide you through it. I also have a prerecorded Master Class on how to do this in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Please consider joining the Class. Just go to popdtf.com and create an account. Next, you'll receive an email confirmation with a link to join the Mastery Class.
I just set up my epson 1430 and I hit print in my acrorip software and at the bottom left corner there are no options to print colour first or white + colour its blank?? Did I forget a step?
Your ink configuration may be missing, within AcroRip. I would double check the driver, in the printer tab, then, check the ink setup in the color tab.
10.5.7 is the current 10.x version. If you do 11, you'll need Wide Format. If you ever end up with a smaller desktop printer (R3000 etc.), you'll need Standard. Wide Format will only work for Wide Format large printers. 10.x covers all sizes, so it's now twice as much to do all printer sizes with 11.x, nearly $1,000.
My guess would be that you have to map your color channels out, so that AcroRip knows where your colors are assigned, on the printer. In the color tab, under "Print Settings" there should be a button that says "Setup"; there, you will be able to tell AcroRip what your color configuration is, for the printer. After you save your configuration, you should see the check boxes appear.
Where did you purchase the software from? Authorized AcroRip distributors will send you a physical USB dongle that you will use as a key, to activate the software.
All you'll have to do is right click over the current image select "Open" If you import a new job this way, it will open the new image with the same exact settings as the last job. When you close the program, go to file and exit. This will also save all of your settings, just in case you shut your computer down.
You MUST use an Epson printer with a minimum of 6 ink channels. You'll need CMYK plus 2 white channels. It's best to use printers with 8 or more channels, because if you end up with a completely clogged white, you can always start using a different channel.
Which version of AcroRip do you have? It could possibly be a pirated version. If it is AcroRip 10, the dongle should be blue. If have AcroRip 11, the dongle should be red.
You will still likely need a white overbase'. If you don't want to print white at all, go to the white tab in the lower right corner and under the white layer generation dropdown box, select the spot color option.
So I just got acrorip v11. I was using an older version before and never had this issue. All my settings seem correct I’ve looked over everything I can think of. But basically when I print it’s stretching my image out like twice as long vertically and it looks distorted. The width seems to match up correctly with how I have it sized but not the length. I’m using an L1800. Any advice what could be causing this?
you can remove it in photoshop, by using the magic wand tool and selecting the background, and deleting the selection. This will be covered in my Mastery Class. I think you can also find a background removing site, if you don't have access to photoshop.

I need your help my images are printing small on Epson et 8550 printer I did the setup it's not working
You likely have your resolution set too high, within the layout tab. I wouldn't set your resolution higher than 1440 x 1440
Hi I need help badly! I have changed my pixel from 1 to 5 but I’m still seeing a white outline around my words and images.
I’m not quite sure what I’ve been doing wrong, but if you can help that would be GREAT!
It seems as though your printhead may be out of alignment. How you could perform an alignment would depend on your model printer.
How do you add multiple images to 1 template to print? Or how do you make a gang sheet in actorip 10.3?

Is acrorip compatible with windows 11?
Yes, definitely. I use it everyday with Windows 11. I am an authorized AcroRip Dealer, also. Here's my site: www.popdtf.com/shop

Are you talking about when you go to print, if so mine do show up either
I having a problem printing white over my color images I done every thing still my white still not printing
Are you checking for color before printing? You have to make sure both options are checked.
I have done all of that and still no white over my color prints..
There might be a clog on the printer for the white
i have purshased the code for acrorip 11.2 desktop version but they only send me the code where i can find the software link to download
Where did you purchase the software from? Authorized AcroRip distributors will send you a physical USB dongle that you will use as a key, to activate the software.
Sir which driver we use in acrorip for Epson L8180 model..
It may be part of an ET8000 series, so you might be able to use the 8500 or 8550 driver, if it's an EcoTank printer.
Thx 👍 sir
How do I save a project so I don't have to recreate all the settings, and picture again?
All you'll have to do is right click over the current image select "Open"
If you import a new job this way, it will open the new image with the same exact settings as the last job. When you close the program, go to file and exit. This will also save all of your settings, just in case you shut your computer down.
is this will work with Epson F6200?
I'm not sure. the only thing that you can do is try to find out if the F6200 shares the same printhead or driver as one of the supported printers.
You MUST use an Epson printer with a minimum of 6 ink channels. You'll need CMYK plus 2 white channels. It's best to use printers with 8 or more channels, because if you end up with a completely clogged white, you can always start using a different channel.
