I’M SO HYPED FOR THE TOLL OMGGG. I really don’t think there is a more original and perfect world building ya sci-fi dystopian than this series. If it wasn’t for the nostalgia that doesn’t allow a series to go above Harry Potter for me, I think it would’ve been my all time favorite series bc damm

There are so many books coming out this autumn and I am so hyped, especially as it's my birthday in September so I'll actually be able to afford them 😁 I can't decide which book I'm most excited for; it's a tie between Wayward Son, Queen of Nothing, The Tyrant’s Tomb and The Toll, but Wayward Son is the only one I've preordered because I bought the signed Waterstones edition because it's so gorgeous and I am so insanely excited for it that I can't function properly

So excited about The Toll!!!!! I NEED IT!! The end of Thunderhead was too much to handle!
I'm planning to reread Renegades here soon and I am so pumped. I grew up on superheroes, so all the little homages were delightful. I can't wait for Supernova.
I also recommend my favorite books of all time: Ash Princess and Lady Smoke by Laura Sebastian. Lady Smoke is the sequel to Ash Princess and came out this year. I love this books deeply!! It is an epic fantasy with dark twists and forbidden romance! I recommend this book 100/100!
Definitely excited for Supernova, Ninth House, The Girl the Sea Gave Back, and Children of Virtue and Vengeance!
Since my finals / Abitur (that's what finals or a-level exams are called in Germany) are over and I finally have time to read again I am extremely excited for all of these books.

I had checked goodreads to see if the release date was set for The Toll and I remember screaming at the top of my lungs because Scythe is my favorite series of all time. I am super excited for it. Also, children of Virtue and Vengeance is also at the top of my list. I can’t wait to read Ninth House too. I’m not usually a new release person but I’m super excited this year.
Looking forward to Serpent and Dove, Ninth House and The Beautiful. I can't read Supernova since I haven't started the series, but thinking about getting it a shot. Happy reading!

I just started reading of fire and stars and I’m loving it so far! Also can’t wait for the toll!!!!!!! I’m also anxiously awaiting girls of storm and shadow, five dark fates, soul of stars, and capturing the devil. So many books to read- so little time.
I read Heretics Anonymous because you made it sound so good and it was just that. It became an instant favorite of mine. I had no idea Katie Henry has another book coming out and I'm glad to be made aware so I can get it when it comes out. So thank you for that!

Wilder Girls is getting so much hype right now, I'm very curious to read it! I'm so excited for the Beautiful, it's time for vampires to make a comeback! You keep raving about the Renegades and every time I'm thinking how i need to read it cause it sounds amazing.... I guess now's the time so I don't need to wait for it. I read Scythe cause of all the great reviews and it's become one of my all time favorites so I'm so excited for the Toll.

Probably going to pick up The Toll eventually because I'm currently reading Scythe and I'm really enjoying it - I can't predict anything that's going to happen and the whole premise is great!
I’m really excited for His Hideous Heart by a whole bunch of authors. It comes out in September and I don’t know if you like Edgar Allen Poe but it is an anthology of 13 reimaginings of his most popular short stories. I love EAP so I am hyped for this book!

Okay i DiEd when I found out Chain of Gold was being pushed back to March... but I’m SO EXCITED for Children of virtue and Vengeance!! I only read Children of Blood and Bone this year but it was AMAZING. I’ve read Renegades but not Archenemies- going to need to read that before Supernova. And the Beautiful was SO GOOD!!! I got to read an arc of it and I was DYING.

I have a question. What books do you recommend to read after all the Shadowhunter Series? I just finished Red Scrolls Of Magic and now all I wanna do is reread the Mortal Instruments(for the 4th time in 3 years!!!) but I also wanna dive into a new book or series. any recommendations would be great as i need to jump in to a new book asap
Try reading "Throne of glass" series and maybe even "Cinder" which is also a book series and they are pretty awesome
@@AnimeLover-uw1uu I actually read The Assasins Blade I got it from my library and I loved it but sadly Throne of Glass wasn't in my library and I haven't even asked my parents to buy me it. I also heard so much about Cinder but once again it wasn't in my library. My library has the worst taste when it comes to books there are like no YA books at all. Thanks for the suggestions
Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. It's an urban fantasy series with a similar style of snappy, sarcastic humour, and also a plot that grows darker as the series progresses. It's ostensibly a middle grade series, but I think that's silly given how dark and brutal it is.
It's about a girl called Stephanie Edgely whose uncle Gordon dies, leaving her his wealth, property and his house to her, much to the rest of the family's shock. Events conspire to leave her alone in Gordon's house after a storm, and a man breaks in searching for some sort of "key." Stephanie is saved by Skulduggery Pleasant, a magical detective who just so happens to be a reanimated skeleton.

I just finished Supernova and I am so distressed with the epilogue!!! It was an amazing book and I didn't even realize the last book of the Scythe trilogies came out this year so now I have that to read too!!!
