I’m so in love with Kit, I had the same exact reaction as you, I knew she was gay from basically page one. Malibu Rising broke my heart and One Last Stop was so fun! Love seeing your thoughts as they were also two of my most anticipated reads and we almost always have the same opinions! Also, I think I understand what you mean about Malibu Rising missing something, I think it’s because it’s more character based as not as plot filled as Eleanor and Daisy, but honestly I think that’s what made it endearing to me.
I’ve missed you’re vlogs!!!! And I love how open you are about you’re mental health, it helps to know that everyone has off days.

I haven't read One Last Stop, but I do remember reading Red, White & Royal Blue and thinking the third person, present tense narration was very weird. Like it should have been first person lol

I feel like saying Malibu Rising isn’t as grand is the PERFECT way to say it! I did the audiobook for that one and I found it extra stressful because I couldn’t see how short the chapters were so I was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see when the perspective would switch. I also called Kit from the beginning. I liked seeing the realization form and then having her friend be supportive of her right away.
Random, but do you like your chai on the sweeter side or the spicier side? I’m a spicier chai fan so I’m always curious how other people prefer theirs.
I read one last stop & loved it. I’ve been waiting to listen to Malibu rising on Libby for the longest time (I’m still waiting to listen to it 😩).
I got their Not a happy family one. Excited about it.

That same thing happened to my car, every time I slowed down to a stop my engine would just shut off and I have to shift it to park take out the key and start the car again and I had to keep on doing that every time I stopped anywhere : stop light, stop sign, for traffic until I reached the mechanics. It was terrifying , I was told it was 2 of my spark plugs wearing down/not working properly so I replaced them but that is so scary to happen in the middle of the road
I told myself I was just going to watch like 15 minutes of this before bed...I ended up watching the whole thing 😅 that sandwich sounds amazing! also you've inspired me to start doing more stretching!!

oh no on the car I mean if he checked everything then it should be fine hopefully....ive wanted to read Malibu rising but haven't picked it up yet...I just got book of the month again and hoping to keep up with it....thats cool all the books are in the same universe lol...ive tried ice cream with oat milk or something like that and I didn't like it but I love oatmeal...I need to work out but haven't had any motivation or anyone to work out with
I was super turned off by Jane at first as well, everyone i know loved the love story and i genuinely could not give a damn the first two thirds of the book. But props to Casey for keeping me hooked with August's character and friendships regardless!

Is it a Hyundai Accent? I have a 2016 accent and am a mechanic and for some unknown reason mine does the same thing as yours. My hypothesis is that its because of the eco setting sporadically restraining too much gas causing it to stall. It never happens when i dont have eco on.
ok #1 amazing that you know i drive a hyndai accent lmao i have a 2013 but this is a helpful tip because i always have the eco setting on so i will try and be conservative with it thank you so much!!
