1989 Chevy S10 Cameo 20 gallon gas tank removal.

Let's get this fuel tank out and figure out what to do next.
Fairly straight forward removal process. Less rust is obviously easier.

Bench test the old one first. If it passes then clean it up and reuse it. I guess it also depends on if you're building show truck and just fixing up a daily driver.

It worked when the tank started leaking. Looks new. Not covered in dirt or rust. Lol

Well then, it seems like reusing the old one is the right idea. At least that's what I would do.

I’m working on my truck removing a gas tank but that the backstrap you got out first keeps spinning so it’s not coming out What do I do?
