Awesome job one of my favorite little trucks I've had two 82's one a S10 and one S15 85 Blazer 86 extra cab 4×4 and a 87 extra cab 2 wheel drive and a 97 GMC Jimmy.

Never realized how difficult it was to find parts for those trucks until my dad's 92 sonoma 4.3 needed a replacement driver side armrest. Couldn't find anything online so I ended up making one a few weeks ago that looks identical to the oem and matching the color. Fun little trucks with the 4.3
Yes certain parts are almost unobtainable.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the s-series national ? Don’t even know if it still even a thing,but back in the early 2000 did the show in St. Louis did the drag strip and a truck’n magazine shoot at hooters was a good turn out with 10 times the trucks

I love first generation S-10s. But I am NOT a mini trucker. I'm a hot rodder and drag racer. My 1993 2 door 2 wheel drive short bed has a well built carbureted 383ci small block under the hood, making just over 400 hp, a 1969 Muncie 4 speed "rock crusher" transmission, a Ford 8.8 Trak-Lok rear end, it has NOT been lowered, it has BFG RWL Radial T/As front and rear, 225/70-14s in the front on 14x6 rally wheels, 275/60-15s in the back on 15x8 rally wheels, a true dual exhaust with no cats, a 2 1/2" cowl hood with hood pins, chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome fender trim, a rubber floor mat (no carpet) black vinyl bench seat, radio delete, three spoke chrome steering wheel, Hurst shifter, full white face gauges, small mirrors, a black vinyl Xtang tonneau cover, and several 'early '70s touches. I made it look (and run) as much like an early '70s muscle car as possible. It is in almost new condition with original paint. 27,000 actual miles (I'm the original owner) been garaged all its life, never used for a truck, bed and tailgate are like new. All the modifications were done right, it wasn't just thrown together. I've been working on it for 30 years. It is registered and insured as a collector vehicle.

One of these days im gona drive from las vegas to do this. It's a long ways but be so worth it.
As good as it gets right there. Between me and my dad we have something like 10 s10s and blazers.
My daily is a 2000 bravada, and his is a 01 zr2 blazer 2 door.
Right now getting my lowered 2000 extreme blazer ready for summer, 15x10 prime 3 spokes, 3/4 drop, and about 5000 watts of stereo.
Back burner project that I wish was going is a 87 2 door with a 09 5.3, 2/3 drop, 91 sonma grill ,vintage slotted mags, and a purple velvet interior that was done about 20 years ago(it's always been a custom). Needs another 4l60, for some reason it keeps dissolving the internals......

Congrats on the whole show and cruise thing. Looks like the beginning of a great future. Any idea what the bumper guards are on that line green truck in the opening shot? Trying to replace some for my 89.
We've been doing this since 2017 i believe. Started with just a few friend. Ebay has the bumper guards. The white s10 that drives by and gives a peace sign has a set too!
