Holy cow. Never knew trigger chop had a time slice toggle you could turn off. So good to know!

Haha there are too many hidden gems to count. That's a really good one for being able to use the easy parameters of Trigger CHOP to build a quick envelope you can use elsewhere.

Great choices, and love this topic. My next pick would be Reorder TOP, not enough people using it. Most of the time I use it for setting an alpha channel quickly to any TOP, but now it's even more useful for swapping channels with all the new Point Cloud and data-in-TOPs workflows.

Oh ya good call. I'd even say Render TOP as a 2d layout tool is a great usage. Especially when making really busy HUDs or 2d data viz, if you try to composite tons of TOPs in 2D you can run into huge networks. Whereas if you texture some rectangles, it's really easy to keep a clean network even when making intricate composite layouts.

I always forgot how power full is lookupCHOP... can improve a fbx animation ? I mean instead to have fbx file reacreate it with all the data ?

We use Lookup CHOP a lot with FBX imports that have animation. Because you can use the Lookup CHOP to easily read through the animation with whatever control signal you want, such as Timer CHOP, Speed CHOP, or even interactive inputs like hand positions from Leap or Kinect could be used as the first input of Lookup CHOP to make interactive animations :)
