This trick willl work only in certain light condition. Is defently better to cache the previous frame all time and subtract the current frame to detect changes. Than use the average color of the image.. if someone is in front of the camera… you will have a spike in pink/red area. With this trigger you can set a timer of half/ 1 second to be sure you have someone for sure someone in front of the camera.
