I came in here expecting something either on par with Undercoder's Pixy Vs Crimson 1 Or M A's version. What I did not expect is 8 minutes of pure solumn Euphoria

This hits me in the feels every time I watch it. We see a redeemed Pixy fighting a character who's essentially a mirror of him in the final battle. On top of that, Pixy tells Crimson 1 to tell Cipher if he ever meets him "tell him I'm sorry." While Pixy still got a bit of a redemption at the end of Ace Combat ZERO as a soldier fighting for ISAF 10 years after the Belkan War, all of us who flew, and fought against Pixy as Cipher, I think we all felt the impact of Pixy's apology here. Pixy, from the bottom of my heart... thank you.
I know Brandon Acosta did his best with Pixy, but, NGL, he sounds a bit too much like Shamrock sometimes. Other than that, helluva ripper job, mate, especially the capitalization of “Him”, making it up in the air if it’s Cipher, Monarch, or God.

I haven't played any Ace Combat games or Project Wingman, I'm just obsessed with Max0r's coverage of them. However, I can tell that this is peak fiction for the fans. The man that despises borders vs The Cascadian monster, along with Zero and Kings mixed together in the background... *With Crimson 1s VA too mind you* Everything about this is perfect!
Anywho-- This version of the fight is not the usual 'A man seeking redemption who get's a second wind upon seeing his corrupt opposite who has succeeded in where he had failed in tbe past'. It's more of a more 'perfect sequel' to what would have happened if PW was a continuation on what happened after Avalon Dam. Pixy is displayed as soul searching, while he may not completely understand the purpose of borders--he recognises that nothing will change even if those borders have been nuked to oblivion and that, his message all those years ago when he was in 'A World Without Borders' had been heard and passed down all across the world. In the other videos of Pixy Vs Crimson, those had the possibility of Pixy just 'accidentally' happening upon the twisted demeanor of Crimson 1. But this video completely eradicates 'being in the right place at the right time' and if any PW enjoyers remember that one line of 'Galaxy asking why didnt Monarch quit when he earned his riches'. It can be a perfect link to that line, Pixy hasnt left because he's still trying clean up after what he did--he's still searching for a peaceful world, trying to understand what his buddy saw in the world whether it'd be beauty or just something else. Solo Wing has found his answers a long time ago, but he's trying to make sense of it all, each step closer he get's to understanding his Buddy, he also steps closer to realising what horror he could've done with the V2, Crimson being the proof of all his deeply set anxiety with the arguably less powerful Cordium Missiles. It took multiple missiles to nuke Cascadia and detonate it--what would one singilar V2 had done if he had succeeded? Either way, his actions egged on generations to follow his past ideals. Redemption is out of the picture. ...That's my 50 cents on this anyway, I might be talking out of my ass considering I'm running on caffine and fatigue. There definitely will be clashes with what I'm saying since I don't bother proofreading. This in it's short 8 minute entirety--is been a great video
crimson 1 almost feels like some sort of successor to pixy in this battle. A successor he didn't want of course, and the successor he must finish so he may finally find some peace regardless of all the destruction and death around him, it's as if pixy is fighting, no, staring into a reflection of the man who he once was, a man who surpassed him and did what he could not.

Holy Shit... Now I am curious how the rest of the campaign went. Some of Crimson 1's lines in the original already seemed to be directed at Pixy, and people made edits with a coherent conversation with existing Pixy lines as well... but you went above and beyond, including getting Mr. Vassilopouos to reprise his role just for this. Also the custom soundtrack for the final boss of both Project Wingman and Ace Combat Zero... going above and beyond.
I just noticed Pixy is flying Cipher’s F-15…damn that’s incredible. It’s like his old Buddy is flying alongside him in this fight, and it’s even more emotional at the end where Pixy Monologues to an imaginary Cipher

Pixy see's his younger self in Crimson 1, thats why he fights, to set it right. To apologize to Cipher.
