How did you get the forest camo with green as the dominate color? The one I see is mostly brown w a bit of green and gray

Pretty sure it's luck of the draw, but I've gotten 3 from them and green seems to be dominate in each.

How is the boyds stock holding up to the 300 Win mag

No problems at all. I also have a Boyd's on my ultimate muzzleloader and it's got more ooomph. They seem to be very solid

Any issues with the mag staying in? I have a compass in 7mm rem mag and hate the stock it comes in

I haven't been doing any intense testing, but I haven't had any issues with it with casual use and it seems to lock in tight.

I had a similar issue. I found that the magazine catch plate needed to be shimmed. The magazine was too tight against the bottom of the action not allowing the magazine to fully latch in place. Also make sure that the latch plate is aligned squarely with the front of the magazine or that will also cause issues.

Is the boyd stock lighter than the original one?

The spike camp is advertised at 2.5lbs and the original stock on my compass II weighed 1.73lbs. So, it's a bit heavier, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if it's a 300 win.
