    I’ve been a staunch opponent of every generation of Honda Pilot … until now - because Honda’s really been upping the ante of their model lineup with the Civic, the Accord, (the Passport is decently nice) and now the Pilot. Maybe … they can do something with *that* Ridgeline.
    Mature and handsome though, the Pilot will no longer remind me of a Japanese version of a Buick Enclave. LOL

      It's a normal industry practice, though we wish we could all have it. The Pilot/CRV/Civic are some of the cars that bring in a lot of money for Honda, and they can't afford to mess something up that would cause sales declines- especially since the current competitive segments are so good. The Accord already has low sales volumes, so they are using that as a platform to test new tech before they adapt those new options to all the other compatible models. The Accord can afford to have issues, to the Civic, CRV, or Pilot. I would expect the new infotainment to become available in the next 2 years. It's just normal industry practice.

    Didn't know the S2000 had EPS. I thought Honda's 1st implementation of EPS was the 9th gen Civic, and if I remember, rhe change from HPS to EPS contributed to why the 9th gen didn't feel as fun as previous Civics.

    Is the Honda Sensing system any better now than in the 2020 Accords? It's decent, but not entirely confidence inspiring on my 2020. It's not the best at staying centered without bouncing from side to side. And sometimes it can just cross the lines, which is NOT what I wanted whatsoever.

    sorry if this is a noob question but why do people get cars with low MPG? and these car companies keep making cars with low MPG. why?

    • @jameslee5237
      @jameslee5237 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not only do you have to pay more upfront for a car with significantly better mpg, but that vehicle also has used more environmental resources from the get-go in its initial manufacture that won’t balance out for a long time. Not to mention higher complexity and cost in maintenance. From a financial standpoint, you can invest the money you saved and come our far ahead by the end of the car’s life than the piddly amount of gas savings. Also from an environmental standpoint, electrified components are far more difficult (and thus unlikely) to be recycled at the end the car’s life.
