- This was my first time really getting to utilize the long box feature of the Defender. I love that it easily fits a pallet! I am so happy that spring is finally here. What is the weather like where you're from?

It's nice seeing someone own a side by side for an actual good reason. These things belong on the farm, not in the trails.
Although they are still utility machines, you’re quite wrong. Most side by sides are designed to be multipurpose utility/ off road machines.
This is America! We can use any vehicle for any purpose.
Why can't they belong on both?

Laura! YOU da LADY!!!! Glad spring is here. Texas went from -1F to 75F in 3 weeks. Glad you had fun skiing! (I used to be a certified ski instructor 50 years ago when it was still super popular...wow...).

Electric fencing can be very handy but also is sometimes a hassle. Great video.👍🏻
It's still only 34 degrees in Maine, but will get up to 48 mid day, but it has been getting warmer recently. Luckily we didn't have much snow this year, so it should melt pretty quickly and get to spring soon.
When I was a kid I used to have fun with the city cousins, an electric fence and a long piece of green grass.

That's where I skied as a student at Mines. The cheapest good skiing there was. Loveland was $25 for a lift ticket. 😂

I was helping a neighbor long ago with cows and he said yeah, that fence is unplugged sooo i got ahold of it and boom it shot straight up into my head, not down the legs like it should. Never ever again did i trust anyone except myself with an electric fence.

Just been picking up leccy fence and posts today, myself. Slightly different though ‘cause we’re only moving it from one roughly 5 acre field to another 5 acre field........ That 150 acre field of yours is nearly double the area of our entire farm🤣🤣😎

Laura, if you have a fear of electricity, when you remove the leads from the battery for the fence charger, pick up the charger and battery and put it in the UTV. All fear goes away.
Most people can't imagine a farm area that has 3 plus miles of fence line. Keep smiling and finish up that degree.

I was raised on a small farm, we used to use hot wire to keep our hogs in. We had metal tanks cut in half to use as a troughs. Some how the hot box would get unplugged then the trough would on end up on the hot wire. Then some how the hot box would get plugged back in. We would wait for the hogs to come by to get something to eat, Zzapp. Hogs are such prima donnas. I've been zapped before good grief, you didn't see me squealing like a pig. The hogs wouldn't go near the feed trough. One day my dad asked why the hogs weren't eating. What was I supposed to tell him, the truth. But that was nothing compared to what we used to do to the bo hogs.

Irrational fears is one of my bigger character defects. Don't worry, I'd be concerned about the fence becoming electrified too.
I actually pissed on an electrical fence once. It wasn't a big deal, but was enough to where I didn't want to do it again. I did it over a bet with one of my brothers who never ended up paying me the 1k bet. Never trust people on bets. :)

So who rolled up all the wire for the electric fence and how do you do that? The reason I ask is cuz when I was younger and worked on my uncle's farm in the summer I got the job that you are doing but when it came to rolling up the wire I wore a big leather belt that had a wire spill on the front of it and had to hand roll it up as I walked along the perimeter of the fence
Always at Church. My Job is another style.
I wish all pivots were one span, they would be so much easier to set up lol

My sister was over helping me and I had my electric fence off to move it in the pasture but after the move I turned it back on and she did not hear me. She went to grab it to go under it and I heard the snap and more profanity in 15 seconds than I did the whole day. She is like you now and is always worried a fence is on.

Not to long but it’s healthy.
you know where the electrified wire is ... it's made of course not to let the animals out of an area - but the animals don't know about that wire and what its role is, they don't see it, they can run several times - you can put some yellow ribbons along the wire ... The animals will avoid the line after the first contact ..... they will know where the wire is that they do not have to approach by color ....
