A word of caution, when working with any kind of dust, shop dust, hay dust always wear a mask. My wife worked with horses most if her life and all the hay dust. She died at age 69 she completely lost ger lungs.pulmonary fibrosis
I haven't seen a 3-wheeler in ages. We had one on the farm when I was a kid. Great memories!

Shop cleaning & organizing is a time consuming job. I'm working on my shop now too...baby steps is right.....it just seems to take forever.

Laura, first of all don't let mice scare you, because I've seen grown men freak out when they see a mouse. They are more scared of you, and will run away when they have the chance. I would like to compliment you on your abilities to handle the work required to farm. It is a 24/7+ job. Cleaning a shop in the planting and harvest seasons is hard, due to the time involved with the daily duties of getting those things taken care of. Love the fur babies, I think that they are special and love being around you. I'm glad to see the bond that you have with your family. It's good that your father is involved with the farm, he can teach you a lot, though you seem to be very able to handle the things that are necessary. Were you ever involved with the FFA? You along with the young lady from New York prove that farming is not just a man's work, but women can also farm successfully. Best Wishes on the 2021 year, may you get top prices for your crops.

Poisoning mice ultimately leads to poisoning birds of prey. We use alternative methods for rodents. Happy New Year.
Here in Ireland, permanent baiting with rodenticides is banned for similar reasons. Electronic traps work so long as you maintain the battery but are expensive.

Switch to Staedtler dry erase markers the expos can stain in as little as 3 minutes

Might sound weird but use regular tooth paste and the glass cleaner on the white board and it will look brand new.
Fun fact, draw over old dry erase markings with fresh dry erase markers and then erase. Presto! Board is clean

Evening of January 4, 2021, made an inspection of the flour mill and found piles of flour and wheat everywhere! I guess there were real problems Sunday! Lots of material went to animal feed or trash!

How many tools that you were looking for did you find? I talked to some people that live in Richmond VA that were from Nebraska, I asked them why they moved they said because it was too cold. I never realized how cold it gets in nebraska until I talked to them. Be careful on that 3 wheeler, they've sent more people to the ER than anything probably.

That’s not just dust you were blowing, it was also residual Chemicals. Both are extremely bad for your lungs. It’s so important to protect your lungs.
