I agree with you that it's overkill, but DT probably has that requirement in their contract they sign when they obtain these demo vehicles. That chainsaw is probably 1000x more dangerous than the SXS and I didn't see them wearing any of the safety clothing that immediately jams the chain if it touches the clothing.
