Air Leap is a fine domestic airline operating turboprop aircraft like Saab 2000. Flying on a domestic flight is always a good experience and a nice opportunity to make a video about what’s flying on local airlines like. That was great! A virtual airline and the whole flight being viewed through a Virtual Reality headset with authentic sounds. It could almost have been real! Seriously, though - a great report. I like the SAAB 2000.
I have always loved the smooth good looks of the Saab 2000 and the smaller 340. I wish the swedish aircraft manufacturers, had developed new upgrades and not stop making them no matter what. Why the business model of Air Leap airlines did not work is a mystery to me. If Air Leap had paid the pilots salaries, based on how many flights they took, rather than on a monthly basis, would surely have worked. A good marketing strategy based on 'the cheap fares, no frills' airline model similar to Easy jet and Ryan air, will still appeal to many passengers i think..
The plane's complex too... Lipican Aer is owned by Solinair, the only airline (cargo or pax) based out of Slovenia. Solinair itself is owned by MNG Airlines of Turkey.
@@andersonrodriguez8258 the car manufacturer yes, but the aircraft are produced by a different company. It just happens to be the manufacturer of jas Gripen and lots of weaponry today.
the saab 2000 has an active noise cancellation system to reduce cabin noise. those are speakers behind that channel opposite noise to whats in the cabin same as noise cancelling headphones do.

Being of Egyptian descent, I’ve of course seen the Egyptair videos, where gladly you portrayed them as well & good and all. And to that end, I definitely think you should try Egyptair long haul product to/from Cairo & the two US destinations it serves: Washington DC, & New York JFK. I’d certainly love to see such a review & flight experience. Best wishes.

Flew on them last October just before they ceased operations. Was surreal sitting in that Saab with only 5 pax

Thrilling report.Very interesting fact was that in take off no flaps extended .Only on landing flaps were extended.
Funny thing I actually flew air leap from Stockholm to malmo on the Saab 2000 on the exact same month this was recorded 😂

The taxi time out to the runway in Ängelholm Helsingborg is actually quite long.
