Why do some of the pilots go as long as possible with the front wheel high in the air, is that intentional to show off or is it just the way they land? Reminds me of when I was a kid and riding a wheelie on my bicycle to show off for my friends.

Most all fighter aircraft have no thrust reverser(s).
So yes, it's "showing off," but also helps slow the rollout with extra drag.

Most definitely vampire..the VENOM has wingtip fuel tanks which can be jettison when required. Also bit longer for radar
