Perspiration, also known as sweating, is the production of fluids secreted by the sweat glands in the skin of mammals.[1]
Two types of sweat glands can be found in humans: eccrine glands and apocrine glands.[2] The eccrine sweat glands are distributed over much of the body and are responsible for secreting the watery, brackish sweat most often triggered by excessive body temperature. The apocrine sweat glands are restricted to the armpits and a few other areas of the body and produce an odorless, oily, opaque secretion which then gains its characteristic odor from bacterial decomposition.
In humans, sweating is primarily a means of thermoregulation, which is achieved by the water-rich secretion of the eccrine glands. Maximum sweat rates of an adult can be up to 2-4 liters per hour or 10-14 liters per day (10-15 g/min·m2), but is less in children prior to puberty.[3][4][5] Evaporation of sweat from the skin surface has a cooling effect due to evaporative cooling. Hence, in hot weather, or when the individual's muscles heat up due to exertion, more sweat is produced. Animals with few sweat glands, such as dogs, accomplish similar temperature regulation results by panting, which evaporates water from the moist lining of the oral cavity and pharynx.
Although sweating is found in a wide variety of mammals,[6][7] relatively few (exceptions include humans and horses) produce large amounts of sweat in order to cool down.
After seeing the commments i have realised I'm not the only person facing this problem
Its comforting to know that you're not alone in facing a particular problem. It gets better
We all in this together brotha
Pfff so happy im not alone in this

It's frustrating but we need to deal with it. I always sweat in head and face even with AC in my room. Though after you feel relax it stops.. but it really sucks.
After taking shower I sweat a lot more than before
Same
Omg i showered and went to a spinclass and sweated like crazy
Either turn the water to cool at the end of your shower or take a cold shower completely I live in Arizona and that is a lifesaver to keep me from sweating so much after a shower. when you take hot showers, your body will sweat while you are showering.
Me too! I thought it was just me
@@dylnfstrThanks, I will do that.
This is a curse. I'm a clean freak too.

I've tried everything to stop my embarassing face-sweating, especially when I am on public transport and it's not that hot, my face is just wet. I just want it to stop. I dread going out sometimes. It really gets me down
Started avoiding interaction because of it
Same here! I just stay home, it’s safer here! No one will look at me or judge me
I feel you bro, that's what turned me into an I Robert, can't even go under the sun for a minute, can't even interact with people without feeling judged or seeing them look at me with disgust
Is there any community for us to rant? 😭
Bro😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I think for a lot of people it's anxiety. I sweat initially, then stop. The temperature hasn't changed. Many times the anxiety is regarding starting to sweat. Crazy.
Same here
I literally sweat a lot that my shirt or t shirt gets fully wet by just standing or sitting (without doing anything)
Exactly
Me 2 I sweat from my nose all the time even if it's cold
Try glycopyrrolate
I can’t avoid hot temperatures, I live in the Caribbean I’m one with the hotness 💀😭
I work as a nurse in a rest home, and the amount of stress it caused me over the past 8 years has physically and mentally made me sick from the stress! I still have to face people every day and I start at 9am by 9:05 face, body, back clothes covered in sweat, I had to wear beanies and a hoodie to hide it, it’s so embarassing 😭
please take care of you and get a different job with much less stress. You CAN do it.

Going to a barber shop to have my haircut is really challenging
Same here man. Everywhere…
@@johntranvan2259 So before I start the session, I would set the expectation of the barber that my sweat may drip in a bit lmao
Same for me.Has your problem been solved?plz help me.
@@sabbirraihanakash8627 unfortunately no. So I usually have my haircut at home lol
I drip with sweat alarmingly at work with little activity and people notice and comment. What i do is carry a couple of cotton rags in my pocket to mop my face and head when im soaked. These rags i make by cutting an old t-shirt into a square with scissors. They are a great help and get me thru the day.
Consider exploring breathable, moisture-wicking clothing options to manage perspiration more comfortably and discreetly at work.
I notice when I smoke a nice indica strain thc it helps me not sweat. I’m able to be comfortable. Idk if sweat because I’m nervous or I’m just a hyper person with a lot of energy but marijuana helps me relax and be chill and slow my heart rate
Bro What The Fuck
@Abdullahhh700 you are totally right, i did a deep dive into this for a month now and i completely stopped smoking weed.
@Abdullahhh700 Its true tho i have the same, but i think its not like he said. I think its actually smoking weed is making you sweat more, but only when youre not smoking weed. The more and longer you smoke weed, the heavier your sweat problems will be when you stop. Thats how it seems to be for me..
Whether its corona or sweating 🍺 2 times a day keeps everything away.
@@koenwijnen9186 yup happned to me. i just thought oh i wasnt sweating while high but now thatm more active and ill smoke and boom i sweat anyways. its just me high blood pleasure.

My doctor said Craniofacial Hyperhidrosis is just a fancy term for Hyperhidrosis. Either way you failed to mention years of stress and MS could be the reason for it, which is not good.
What is MS pls?
craniofacial hyperhidrosis just means you have hyperhidrosis specifically on your face and head

While sweating can be normal, excessive sweating from multiple areas except the palms might indicate a form of hyperhidrosis ❤️
