Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. yeah investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity but venturing into any legitimate Investment without a proper guidance of an expert can lead to a great loss too
Wonderful interview. She looks amazing for someone in her 80s! Her mind is sharper than a lot of people far younger than her. I’d love to sit at her feet and drink from that fountain of knowledge. ❤
Mrs Omeily-Nelson was the most transformational Postmaster General in Jamaica's history. She brought such great ideas by bringing the Post Offices to modern standard. Good to see her still keeping the flag high.
@@RajeevGuptaBBC I don’t see a video on the topic referenced in the comment above, Jamaica modernized post office system. If you don’t have a video specific on this topic, please make one. I haven’t seen anyone talking about how the post office operations are ran in Jamaica and why the locals have to pay the post office in order to receive a package when the shipping and customs fees were already paid by the sender from overseas. I do not send anything to my family through the post office from the U.S any more, I try to send items with other family members when the go home to visit, because the fee for the postage in the U.S plus the pick up fee in Jamaica is more than 400% than the cost of the item sometimes more depending on the item being sent. Furthermore, the locals cannot afford to pay the fee at the post office to pick up the package. Since Mrs. Nelson was the postmaster general in Jamaica, she would be the perfect person to explain why and how the post office operates in this manner. The cost is ridiculous to the point where individuals have created their own independent shipping companies for people overseas to ship items to their love ones for less, because of the immoral operations of the Jamaican post office systems. Thank you sir.
This has been apart of Jamaican society since the 1970s. it was called "grass roots finance" when I was a child. My mom was a councillor and she initiated it in her community at the time and also she started a housing scheme in the area before she passed.
Blossom is the truth. Her financial mind is quite fascinating and brilliant. Love the fact that she doesn’t come across as pretentious unlike some of the hurry-come-up wealthy people in JA
Blossom is such a nice person, she was my former CEO at Post & Telecom. The first time I ran in her in the elevator, she said, I did not know that there is a female whose taller than me that's works here 🤗
I am a recently approved resident of Jamaica (from US). I love learning about the people of Jamaica and how things run here. This was a very interesting and informative interview with this wonderful woman. I will definitely be following your channel.
Earth Angel,,she is soooooo adorable..wwwoooowwww,,world class knowledge....may Gad bless her endlessly.....a real ANGEL,she looks 50..really remarkable.....🌺
Pure positive and abundance mindset. She is a brilliant mind. Glad for this bit of knowledge. More interviews like these should be done. It is a shame Jamaica can’t get agricultural technology right. Michael Manley told them the importance of eating from their own basket. She is living here life passions fully. Blessings.
Blessed night, just want to say this ,I am from Trinidad and Tobago my name is Blossom ,my great grandmother was from Jamaica 🇯🇲 and she had given my this name. I am very very happy too see that there is someone else with the same name.
Wow she is in her 80! She don't look it. She was a geography teacher, a psychology professor, a college professor, a CEO at a telecom company, and a micro finance entrepreneur...the list goes on. Fine wine that gets better with time and a smart/hard worker who didn't sit on her laurels waiting to be handed things. Take note modern day women. She and Trisha Bailey and Michael Lee Chin have done is proud.
Very interesting interview and She’s so intelligent identifying the elements that’s affecting the small business community. She’s successfully at what she does because of the time , dedication invested to solving problems and a smart approach towards improving how businesses operates is to seek solutions for the shortfalls she spoke of during the interview.
I am overwhelmed with the success of this Great Lady of the soil...in so much that she was my Phychology lecturer at Sam Sharpe Teachers's College from 1979 to 1981. A bright person. You have no choice than to learn from her. We need more of her in the place. She is not a day older. I love you Mrs Stokes then...Omealy-Nelson now. What ever there is, she is a best person a nd it is this lady. I really love her. She is blessed and young.
Blossom on you comment regarding tourism and the fact that the tourists are control. Its a regular discussion among our household. You don't have this problem in other countries i.e Europe example been Spain/Portugal/UK/South America/ list goes on. Why then is tourism not benefiting our community. Tourism is very much a vital part of everyday life for many businesses in other countries and is very lucrative on many levels. Good infrastructure, road and pavement improvement, business premises up keep, good policing, all these things would make for a better life for local people and even more attractive to tourists when they come to Jamaica, we need a better tourist board, and a government that can make Jamaica vibrant place to visit, just look at Singapore it a mobile for Jamaica to fellow. And lastly education education
Wow! Blossom O'meally is such wonderful, inspirational woman. She highlighted, some great points, with regards to the development of Jamaica's struggling economy which was great to hear. May our Creator continue to bless her 🙏🏽

Interesting and informative interview...first time hearing about this lady, you can see she has a brilliant mind with tons of knowledge on the issues....and she is aging beautifully

Exactly. Why are we buying fertilizer from overseas when we have so much sewage in Kingston and Portmore?
Foreign police’s and the leadership mindset that embraces all things foreign is the cause of this lack of creativity in our people.
