Focus ST - How to Series:
This is a quick and easy way on how to do your Focus ST or RS Oil Change! I recommend a high quality oil filter that filters well especially for built motors, Fram Endurance Synthetic or Mobil 1 Filters are the best filters at walmart!
**Fram FE-3600 or M1-209a are great Filters and they hold more capacity over stock or fl400s junk filters!
*OEM Capacity 5.7 qts. ( round off to 6 qts.)
*B.S.D. adds 1 extra qt of Capacity! (7 qts.)
*Oil Coolers add around 1/2 - 3/4 of a quart.
*Bigger oil filters add 1/2 - 3/4 quarts!

Do you run heavier weight with a stroker? Or still 5w-30?

Technically the 2.3 stroker is rs internals which ford calls for 5w50 on it, i ran 5w50 on my stock st motor with success for many years big turbo, on a built motor id run 10w30 or 10w40.

3 catch cans, 2 are circulated and 1 is vent. I run amsoil but pennzoil ultra platinum is great they dont offer 10w40 tho.
