Yea absolutely, i recommend aem kits for easier installation. The snow kits you need to drill a hole for the level sensor on the tanks. I ran a duel nozzle setup from 2015-2019.

Yea sounds weird but its worked great for me, both are made for manuals. I find it better and smoother than any specced dct fluid made.

Nice video man very informative. It’s hard to find content like this on focus’s. Keep up the good work. I’ll give you a follow. Good to see someone who keeps their car after they bought it. Also bought my focus hatchback at the tail end of 2012 but I have a titanium and have been modified it ever since.
Hell yea appreciate that, ive owned mine since nov 2012, pre ordered it in Sept.
Reason why the evo is letting go already is because 5th gear is an overdrive gear. The disadvantage of the evo x is having short gear ratios. The disadvantage for you is you can’t put your power to the ground because of FWD, obviously. His 4th gear tops out at around 110 so by the time he lets go in 5th gear, he’s probably at around 130-140mph. I have the same exact turbo he’s running on my evo except I have a built head only on 93 pump gas making 500whp. 570whp sounds right for his with e85. If I wanted to I can max out my turbo on e85 to around 650whp. But more importantly, he’s definitely not making anything over 600whp without upgraded cams, because stock evo x cams are only good for 600whp.
I was hoping for a 70 roll to get my turbo spooled up better, he spooled better at a 60 roll than me. I never brake boosted ever but if i knew how i would have stayed with him better for sure, 3rd gear i need tires for.
Honestly this guy doesn't show his mods and never wanted to pop his hood, i showed mine to others no problem. He probably has a built motor know one knows 💯

Yea it was my first race on the setup, i wanted to know where my car stood at, i didnt do bad for staying in 4th and going to 5th that 1st race, the 3rd run was a 60 and felt like i was timing it better but he missed a gear, it was a great race.

Worst idea to spray cleaner directly into a electronic throttle body
The solvent is made for cleaning all throttle bodies, it drys instantly unless you got a wrag or a cue tip which helps clean it better, its literally the best way otherwise i wouldnt do it. How are you suppose to clean it otherwise? The worst idea would be to spray it with degreaser and water.
@@WhiteblurrST the solvents are conductive and spraying directly into the throttle body has a chance of solvent leaking into the electronic components through the shaft of the butterfly. The correct way is like start of video with rag, or spray onto rag and brush old toothbrush over the solvent on rag and clean the throttle body, wipe down after with rag.
*Also note i used Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner not throttle body cleaner, maf cleaner is safer and less harsh than traditional tb cleaner too but cleans just as well especially with elbow grease.

That 3rd race i was doing better and he missed a gear he knew it was or would be over, gotta remember also this was the 1st race on this setup i didnt know how well my turbo would spool and i didnt know brake boosting because i never had to use it.

No , just needed better tires for 3rd gear to hook. Also this was the 1st race on this new setup, that 3rd race he missed a gear so driver mod was needed for the evo. He wouldn't do a 70 roll because he knew it would be over.

Yea the 18" ones are a couple lbs more. Still lighter than stock but idk if they even sell these specific ones now, they have others. Another good option is sparco assetto gara.
@@WhiteblurrST I have wheels that are 21.5 or 22 lbs as is rn they are pretty lightweight but who knows maybe having that extra couple pounds could help. Also could you possibly do a list of what weight reduction things you have done to bring your car down to the number it’s at??
Rear seats deleted, wipers deleted, no spare tire, lighter crash bar, cloth focus se front seats, thats basically it. You can put rs brakes on it or se brakes that are lighter too.

You need to swap rear bumper, tailights and hatch from a facelift then you can run the carbon one is how you go about doing that from what i know.

I have an RS but from past experience back when i had a built block ST with GTX turbo back in 2014 i remember running street drag (changed them very 3 months) my ST was king of 40 mph rolls all in 2nd gear. Ill feather it to a perfect hook and jump everytime. Not sure if you running street drags but u definitely need them on all the time if not fwd is useless
Yea dont have street drags, just newer general tire gmax rs tires which are nice but not good enough to hook 3rd gear, if i could have started in 3rd it would of been a better race.

Im messing around with my ride height, raised rear up higher and gonna have the front lower than rear by a inch to add grip and downforce.

Focus st needs head porting
I got a RS head it flows better , flow isn't the problem. I just needed to brake boost against this evo, this was the first race on this setup. Never had to brake boost but with higher hp Focus you need too.
Why not starting in 2nd on a 40 roll?
Because my car spins in 3rd at 40, no way 2nd gear would even hook. I need better tires, 2nd gear isnt what you want for 40 roll anyways.

I need better tires, i spin in 3rd. Also gotta learn to brake boost. The fact i stayed with him in 4th in the 1st run and then started reeling him in 5th. If i can deadhook 3rd it would of been a better race too.

Depo vs cpe fmic for the focus st ? Big turbo in the far future
Get Cvf intercooler, its high quality and rated for 650whp which is enough. Use my code BB5 for a discount too on cvf.com website. If you dont want that then id personally get whoosh v3 looks like a cpe/ depo, also get your 4port aux fuel kit from elliot specialized performance great quiality kit i got it, all you need is 65lb injectors. Idk your goals but id recommend EFR if they made them still for the kits, but for garrett id do gtx2867 .86 iwg for anything below 400whp, anything above do g30-660 up to 500whp. Then id go g30-770 .83

Airtec isnt good enough if it's only 3-3.5" thick, they heat soak over 450whp. They look nice and are good enough for a build under 400whp, i like my charge temps ambient through the pull.
Do you ever use 75w90?
Yea its in my video, i use amsoil 75-90 manual transmission fluid and mix it with 1 qt of The multi Atf because thats used for manuals in camaros etc , i fount that combo to produce the least amount of metal shavings on magnet.
@@WhiteblurrST I was going to use, Liqui Moly 75w90 GL4+ and add a tube of liqui moly mos2 anti friction for gears. I unfortunately can't find Amsoil in my area.
Yea or get redline 75-90 ? Thats another good option. That additive i wouldn't recommend, it doesnt mix good and just settles.

Stock dct oil is 75w80 so cold flow wouldn't matter either way in winter. That DCT fluid is water tho, i hate it.
