that little marimba, or xylophone... whatever the hell its called, at the beginning of Rusty Bucket Bay ( 20:28 ) really just gave that song a 10/10. Whatever the fuck the instrument is really sounded amazing, and not to mention the fact that they used the falling then rising crescendo... i ate that type of shit up when i was little
My family: What is your favourite B-K song? I: C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, F#, F, E, D#, D, C#, C... Family: ok? I: Wwww, TrrrRRRRR, (breathe in) wwwwww, Broooom! Who get it
Mad Monster Mansion is a masterpiece. Beautifully ominous sounds that compliment each other perfectly and matches the level to tee. Glad you appreciate its genius. Can't be bothered with top 10, so here's my top 5: 5. Gobi's Valley 4. Rusty Bucket Bay 3. Treasure Trove Cove 2. Click Clock Wood (Spring) 1. Mad Monster Mansion.
It's hard to choose a "best song" in Banjo Kazooie because THEY ARE ALL really awesome in their own very special way. :P Great list, you've made me listen to remixes for the rest of the night.
I remember beating this game when i was like 6. i can't remember anything but the intro... Best game ever why did they have to fuck it all up with nuts and bolts? :(
+MrJatmesdragon I found the concept of the Game really cool and how could they make it better by adding 2 bestly well known characters of all time butsadly the games was made by microsoft!!!
+Klagmar thx for making a good choice B&K music, technically it's fair use if I use them in my videos and me and the views will just love the nostalgic music come back from most of our childhoods
Good list, I like it. All of the songs are excellent. I never realized this before, but Banjo-Kazooie overall has a very small soundtrack, about 20 tracks. Most of the variation in the game just comes from different versions of Gruntilda's Lair. Personally, I think the top three themes in the game are Click-Clock Wood, Gruntilda Battle, and Rusty Bucket Bay. I was surprised to see the first two so low.
My brother played Banjo Kazooie and Banjotooie from when he was early 3 to when he was 8, and now he's 17, when i was born (he was 4) i remember watching him play, and when he had me try i failed miserably, although he had me try when i was 3... what i guess im getting at is, im crying at the memories :')
13:26 If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise... Can't believe the whole soundtrack is a variation of a song for children, and how excellently it's done! Every few years I get a hankering to smash through BK just one more time...I never want to touch Nuts and Bolts.
I thought the song from Banjo-Tooie in the village where the jinjos have their houses was very sad. But again, listening to all these songs brings back irreplaceable memories from when I was a kid. :'( Thanks for making this video and I honestly LOVED Rusty Bucket Bay's song although the level itself was quite challenging LOL.
To help me in Clanker's Cavern, Rusty Bucket Bay, and Click Clock Wood (Winter) I always use the cheat for infinite air. It makes them a lot easier especially since a lot of Clanker's Cavern's objectives are under water, Rusty Bucket Bay and Click Clock Wood (Winter) have water that sucks the air away a lot faster.
+XxEmoGothOutcastxX I hated Mad Monster Mansion. I tried to kill everything first with Kazooie's Wonder-Wing before I did anything. The cheat for infinite Gold Feathers comes in handy...
this game was one of those games that was amazing in all aspects, great platforming, excellent soundtrack with funny and cool characters. this was pretty much the golden era of gaming.
love it good choices rusty bucket bay is the devil level just being in the water hurts u and the jiggys are hard i also notice a lot of people in most ones that involve clanker to have been scary but i wasnt a kid like that.
The nostalgia is great in this one. Back in that era Rareware was in a hitting spree, every game they released was incredible, from Goldeneye to DK, the banjo series and Conker, not forgetting the under rated (IMO) Jet Force Gemini. God I miss those days :'(
well... now I love you♥!! xD hahahahah BK is my favorite VG along with TLoZ.. thanks a lot.. lets see your list... hehehe an BT's image for the 10th song xD... final battle :D... pff treasure trove cove´s song was stucked in my head too for a really long time.. well I agree with you in almost all the songs but 1st one is mine too.. :DD great!!
I HATED Rusty Bucket bay for those bloody life destroying rotors at the back of the ship, but it is the level with the best music, no contest. Good choice, good list.
This has just brought back memories of note-collecting! I went for 100% completion once and got 90 notes on Rusty "Fuck-It!" Bay and then got knocked off the walkway by those bastard fans in the engine room. Then spending hours hunting for the last few notes in click clock wood and forgetting which month you've searched through! That game had me pulling my hair out at times.
I remember when i first saw clanker as a kid. All i saw was this giant row of sharp teeth through murky water, and booked it the other was fast as i could and didn't go back for a month. When i finally sucked it up and went in fully expecting to be chomped, i found a miserable fella in need of a dentist and a stomach soother.
@Klagmar Really? You should check it out. It's just as good as BK's soundtrack, in my opinion. Water Ruins is the best theme, but Sekhmet, Spawnship, Mizar's Palace, and Ichor Military Base are all great themes. The rest of the themes are quality, too. JFG was composed by Robin Beanland, who later worked on BK: Nuts and Bolts.
I'm not sure of Conker but right now, I'm not sure if I want any more Banjo games. We have been waiting and being so excited for a long time. If they release Banjo-Threeie I think it would have been a flop. After out expectations. Or... well.. maybe not because if Nuts'n Bolts.
To be honest I never played beyond the first dungeon of MM so I can't comment. I'm waiting for a 3DS remake to get back in. I hear good things about it.
Does anyone else think that certain parts of the final battle song sounds like it should be in Donkey Kong 64. Specifically the Mad Jack song? (Jack in the box boss)
What?! No Freezeezy Peak? NO GOBI'S VALLEY (my personal favorite of the 9 worlds). But you put Clanker's Cavern and Bubblegloop Swamp in there?! I don't get it. haha There were some good ones in there, though. Grunty's final battle theme is my favorite throughout the whole game.
Didn't agree with a lot of them (was happy to see Clanker's Cavern so high up because it's very underrated), but your number one got a huge yes from me.
I am not going to be a troll or hater, and I do agree with most of them, but one thing is that I think click clock wood should have been at least in the top 2. I am mainly talking about the spring version, as I think it is the most lively and suits the level extremely well, other than that, I agree with all of them
I really like the list you have so far but u kinda left out mubos hut dont get me wrong but i woulda took out the swamp for it just saying and banjo and kazooies music is great but i agree with Drunyon the Jet force gemni game it does have awsome music.and is rare to find but if u use project 64 u can play it on ur computer.
Hey do anyone remember if there was a green gruntling in gruntilda's lair? I remember it but I can't find it in guides or in the game anymore Is it really hidden or I just remember wrong?
#10 - Banjo Tooie - Intro - 0:52

This list is bullshit.
How can there be any top songs in Banjo Kazooie when all the songs are the best songs?
Lmaooo
I agree so much with that legendary musics
Very true
I WAS FUCKING LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT. CAN'T BE A TOP 10
you faked me out there. I thought you were gonna say something like “uM nO aCtUaLlY fInAl BoSs ThEmE iS tHe BeSt OnE mY oPiNiOn Is RiGhT”
In my opinion banjo kazooie has the best soundtrack on the n64

All this game's soundtrack is perfect! My favorites varation of gruntilda lair(frezeezy peak, mad monster mansion, click click wood ecc)
My family: What is your favourite B-K song?
I:
C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, F#, F, E, D#, D, C#, C...
Family: ok?
I:
Wwww, TrrrRRRRR, (breathe in) wwwwww, Broooom!
Who get it
The music in rusty bucket bay is my favorite as well
BUT THE LEVEL IS HARD AS FUCK!
I think Gobi's valley is harder, to be honest. That or one of the later levels (like Click Clock Wood)
kirby3219 I Think gobis valley is one of the easier ones. But the World was awesome enough so you dont care.
+tysswe1 I didn't find gobi's valley that hard
Actually the Crew Quarters theme in Rusty Bucket Bay is my favorite song in the entire game.
Click Clock Wood (Spring) should be all 10.
Yep
Ha yuh ! XP
Of course
Summer and Gobi's valley also
Ikr
Its a legendary music too
But as a Guy said we cant do a top10 on a game that every music should be top1 lol
Mad Monster Mansion is a masterpiece. Beautifully ominous sounds that compliment each other perfectly and matches the level to tee. Glad you appreciate its genius. Can't be bothered with top 10, so here's my top 5:
5. Gobi's Valley
4. Rusty Bucket Bay
3. Treasure Trove Cove
2. Click Clock Wood (Spring)
1. Mad Monster Mansion.
"Click Here To Skip The Intro"
You are my new favorite youtube poster.
Gruntilda's Lair's theme...I haven't play for years and it's still in my head
I agree. My Favourite pat of click clock is because of 4:47
-part
The graveyard would always give me the shivers.
For me, its sad and too spooky to get ones mood in a good way.
I miss this game so much I was born in 2007 and grew up on it last time I played a one of these it was nuts and bolts
It's hard to choose a "best song" in Banjo Kazooie because THEY ARE ALL really awesome in their own very special way. :P
Great list, you've made me listen to remixes for the rest of the night.
I remember beating this game when i was like 6. i can't remember anything but the intro...
Best game ever why did they have to fuck it all up with nuts and bolts? :(
***** THANK YOU!!!!!!! GOD SENT SOMEONE FROM THE HEAVENS TO JOIN THE REBELLION ARMY AGAINST THE WAR OF BOLTS AND ALSO NUTS!
It was a good game, but I would have liked it a lot better if it did not have anything to do with banjo Kazooie...
ikr
MrJatmesdragon I'm with you. I really loved nuts and bolts. I'm always sad to see how much hate it gets. :(
+MrJatmesdragon I found the concept of the Game really cool and how could they make it better by adding 2 bestly well known characters of all time butsadly the games was made by microsoft!!!
i miss those days
We have the same #1, but I am surprised to not see Freezeezy Peak in your list.
I wasn't a huge fan of it back when I made this video, but I'm actually quite fond of it now :)
+Klagmar thx for making a good choice B&K music, technically it's fair use if I use them in my videos and me and the views will just love the nostalgic music come back from most of our childhoods

2. frezezzy peak
3. treasure trove cove
4. mumbo mountain
5. final boss fight
THANK YOUUU...
...For this epic video. You managed to revive very fond memories and make me want to play that game again. :')
You put Click Clock Wood spring at #8? that's the best song in the whole franchise! but still, a great list.
All of you guys are wrong... Alantis is the best song (Underwater part of jolly rodgers lagoon)
Um no Treasure Troce Cove is, nice try. Lol
Stephen Oh yes I love that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what a buncha clowns, acting like your opinions are right
@@GlitchxPeridot Calm down mate.
Number 8 is my absolute Favourite song I also love the stage click clock wood. It's so much fun!
For some reason I would always go back and forth in the tunnel between Click Clock Wood and Grunty's Furnace Fun because I loved the sound transition.
If you don't update this list and add Freezy Peak i swear to god i will find you.
Banjo kazooie nuts and bolts isnt a banjo kazooie game. its a piece of shit
13:26 If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise... Can't believe the whole soundtrack is a variation of a song for children, and how excellently it's done! Every few years I get a hankering to smash through BK just one more time...I never want to touch Nuts and Bolts.
Man this is awesome... Brings back a cauldronful of good memories.
The ascending and descending marimba in Rusty Bucket Bay's theme just send chills down my spine.
Rusty Bucket Bay! The greatest number one choice I've ever seen. 21:35
I thought the song from Banjo-Tooie in the village where the jinjos have their houses was very sad. But again, listening to all these songs brings back irreplaceable memories from when I was a kid. :'(

For me the order of songs should be in reverse^^ still nice selection!

Hello!!
Can you please tell me what is the techno music you used in introduction??
Nice top 10

The nostalgia is great in this one. Back in that era Rareware was in a hitting spree, every game they released was incredible, from Goldeneye to DK, the banjo series and Conker, not forgetting the under rated (IMO) Jet Force Gemini.
God I miss those days :'(

I HATED Rusty Bucket bay for those bloody life destroying rotors at the back of the ship, but it is the level with the best music, no contest. Good choice, good list.
Freezeezy peak?? Also I know it's technically a different game but hailfire peaks in banjo tooie is super catchy. Also glitter gulch mine.
This has just brought back memories of note-collecting! I went for 100% completion once and got 90 notes on Rusty "Fuck-It!" Bay and then got knocked off the walkway by those bastard fans in the engine room. @Klagmar you must have forgotten the "hook for" tune mate....
Wow someone who doesnt hate rusty bucket bays theme
@Klagmar Really? You should check it out. It's just as good as BK's soundtrack, in my opinion. Water Ruins is the best theme, but Sekhmet, Spawnship, Mizar's Palace, and Ichor Military Base are all great themes. The rest of the themes are quality, too.

nintendo 64....your memories will never be forgotten:
To be honest I never played beyond the first dungeon of MM so I can't comment. I'm waiting for a 3DS remake to get back in. I hear good things about it.
What's the music that's playing in the intro? I like it
Kinda hard to make a top 10 list on this game, since every theme is awesome, catchy and matching to its environment
I can't believe Gobi's Valley didn't make the list.
My personal favs are 'Spiral Mountain' ; 'Click Clock Wood' and 'Freezeezy Peak'.
***** Spring !
Who'da thought a silly parody of a villain like Grunty could have such epic music!
The top 5 Banjo Kazooie Songs of all time:
1. All of them.
2.
3.
4.
5.
Great list. Freezeezy Peak and Glitter Gulch Mine are the best though... with the interior of Grunty Industries close behind.
This is only for the first game though
You can definitely feel the Donkey Kong 64 cross over from Rare in some songs!
great music and platforming, it's so perfect!
I was about to say, "why isn't rusty bucket bay" in the list till to find it reached the top,
that's something we both agree on :D
I bought both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie by microsoft points on Xbox and they are the best games with the best music! :)
Does anyone else think that certain parts of the final battle song sounds like it should be in Donkey Kong 64. Specifically the Mad Jack song? (Jack in the box boss)
time well spent instead of studying for the test tomorrow:D
What?! No Freezeezy Peak? NO GOBI'S VALLEY (my personal favorite of the 9 worlds). But you put Clanker's Cavern and Bubblegloop Swamp in there?! I don't get it. haha There were some good ones in there, though. Grunty's final battle theme is my favorite throughout the whole game.
i think so too, if you look at today's jump 'n run-games, they're all totally easy
we had it hard with banjo, rayman etc.
No one is surprised about rusty bucket bay being number one
But on the final battle, where do you hear Rusty bucket bay according to you?
Great list!
Its Been 22 Minutes already?!?
I JUST Clicked the video!
Didn't agree with a lot of them (was happy to see Clanker's Cavern so high up because it's very underrated), but your number one got a huge yes from me.
one of the hardest games i´ve ever played, still love it
@tattoo6862 Look up "Water Ruin" and "Sekhmet" from JFG, and you will want to play it even more :) JFG just had some amazing songs.
@Klagmar alright, thanks man :D
I am not going to be a troll or hater, and I do agree with most of them, but one thing is that I think click clock wood should have been at least in the top 2. I am mainly talking about the spring version, as I think it is the most lively and suits the level extremely well, other than that, I agree with all of them
Rusty bucket bay and clunkers cavern are epic
You missed "Tooty's Theme", and Good job on the video!
I miss Banjo and Kazooie it was my childhood game
Very nice list.
I miss this
I really like the list you have so far but u kinda left out mubos hut dont get me wrong but i woulda took out the swamp for it just saying and banjo and kazooies music is great but i agree with Drunyon the Jet force gemni game it does have awsome music.and is rare to find but if u use project 64 u can play it on ur computer.
Holy shit, Final Battle is awesome. Really reminds me of a piece that I'm composing.
man they really should make another banjo game like this one!, good old platformer with amazing music!
It's funny how I can listen to 20 minutes of Banjo Kazooie music straight without feeling like I wasted my time
i'm sorry but this is my #1 is Freezeezy Peak. The level was always so much fun.
this list is awesome sauce!!!
Hey do anyone remember if there was a green gruntling in gruntilda's lair? I remember it but I can't find it in guides or in the game anymore
Is it really hidden or I just remember wrong?
Gobi's Valley and Freezeezy Peaks: ARE WE JOKES TO YOU
What's the music at the beginning? (Before the count-down, after the intro)
