- The Gamer Symphony Orchestra performs Banjo Kazooie by Grant Kirkhope with Mark Cromer on banjo. Music begins at 2:15. The Gamer Symphony Orchestra is comprised of non-music majors at the University of Maryland. They exist and perform solely for their love of game music. They are awesome. Grant Kirkhope was in attendance and he was the one who got me to play banjo for this. A wonderful time was had by all!

I dont give a CRAP about the mistakes. Experience taught me mistakes happen in live performance; and not all band members carry their own weight. It's fine. We're all learning every second of our lives. Regardless, the overall effect is still strong as heck! Paired with my nostalgia goggles...this music scratches a very specific itch that I needed scratched. Awesome upload.

Besides, Yuka-Laylee is exactly what you want. Made by the old rare members and it's a spiritual sequel to Banjo Kazooie.

Andres Mejia Most of the heroes who worked on games such as Banjo-Kazooie and DKC left Rare. Some started Playtonic Games and created Yooka-Laylee which looks awesome!
I believe Gregg Mayles is the only one left with Rare.

My grandfather played the game a lot of times, and i liked to watch him play it. And now thanks to him I love the game, and everytime I watch or listen the game I remember him :(

We only got three main games, but I consider Banjo-Kazooie Nuts 'N' Blots more of a Spin Off as well. So a real third game on the Xbox One with remastered versions of the original 2 games would be awesome, unless Nintendo buys the rights which I really hope they do.

I found this a few years and remember it from time to time, and of course come back to listen. That is incredible that Grant was there to watch!

Jareditton check out yooka laylee. It's a game by playtonic games which is a spiritual successor to the n64 banjo games. The company has people who did a lot of the work on the n64 titles. It's also being composed by Grant Kirkhope and David Wise, who composed the 90s Rare games.

Microsoft was the majority shareholder for rare after purchasing some from Nintendo. They owned rare and could have them do whatever they want. Where nintendo gave rare creative freedom, microshit was the complete opposite forcing their staff to work on kinect games instead of using them to do what they were good at.
Caused a lot of senior rare staff to leave and ultimately made rare what it is today.
I know about it. gonna play it through when it comes out.

As for Jareddition, just go on Google and look for the first Banjo Kazooie, but as an emulator. I guarantee you'l find one that runs at 60fps in a stunning 1080p quality somewhere, if you want that amazing, nostalgic, N64, RareWare, golden age of Banjo Kazooie games.
Freezeezy Peak was easily the best part of this whole thing.

The Egyptian section for Gobi Valley on banjo was very interesting to hear, certainly a unique sound. I think the Freezeezy Peak section was the most pleasant sounding part. I do wish the audio was recorded in higher quality though.
