I really like the rating system FStoppers uses and I apply it to everything now. Most of these shots I would rate a 1, a snapshot.
But where I expand on that is to think of their ratings as from a range of 1 to 10, their 1 being a 6. A 6 out of 10 is still sharable on social media. Not every shot has to be portfolio worthy. Most of the shots we take are for our own memories, let alone anyone else's.

When I started I did black and white. I think it was showing that I hadn't built up the confidence yet to go into color.

Hahahaha, Why the b&w? Because I took a bunch of bad pictures but had to produce something to try to save. Been there. Giving pictures weird names to try to feel like an artist. Yelp. I took a picture of a rock in a creek in the woods, gave it a bad name put it in a local gallery for an art show I did. Two years later another photographer did a show in the same gallery. One of his featured pictures was the same rock, same angle and same stupid picture name. Some of these criticisms had me rolling cause I’ve done them all😩. This was hilarious
