My goodness your MoPars have such stronger frames and suspension than what we got here in the states. Our steering boxes are bolted directly to the K-Frame and have a tendency to crack their anchor points. Once that happens the easiest repair is to change out the whole K-frame.
First time watching your videos. This one run on from the CMRegal which I love. Being a total imbecile on doing any sort of car repairs or rebuilding I love seeing the work done by others. In fact the lady with you knew more than I did when she started to talk. I loved the old Chrysler’s and then onto Mitsubishi. Great video, great work. Thank you for sharing.
Great video guys, thanks for sharing. I used a sleeve on my vh ute but i thoroughly repaired the rail first. A couple of years on and it seems to be holding up nicely 🤞🏻
Having plated several of these. Here in SA IF you had to take it for inspection they had to be welded all way around. I have also seen the top pickups broken off both sides, not rusty rails. Valiants leave a lot to be desired often.
1:15 No-one sleeves these any more, well, nobody who wants a proper job. Still plenty of cowboys buying the sleeve kit and putting a band aid over the problem unfortunately 😠

Beautiful job, can't see this problem happening again. This is exactly the way it needs to be done.

Hi guys thanks for sharing gotta love the old Val
Good job and love the content, but the porosity in the welds behind the steering box will eventually e an issue. Otherwise thumbs up.
Very good job

I heard about repair then change to rack & pinion steering. Steering rack mounts on K frame . Common in the USA.
