Do you think they could work on an acoustic electric guitar with nice pickups and something well balanced that sounds good on a big stage or in a small church
Hi everybody at GRETSCH GUITARS ! I think you got the RIGHT SPOT with your line of what I would call "6120 Junior" guitars, may that be that specific "Chris Rocha Electromatic Broadkaster Jr." model or the "G6659 Broadkaster Jr." series, or the "G5655T-QM Jr." series. 2 of my friends already bought G5655T Jr, and I have a 2002 "6120 JR2" (with a set of TV Jones Brian Setzer pickups). A lot of people LOVE that Gretsch TONE, but are a little hesitant about having a big "Jazz box" hollow body guitar such as a 6120, and the "6120 Jr" style guitars is the spot on answer to that: the same TONE, the same great esthetic, but with a way more "ergonomic" overall size. GREAT JOB ! God bless you all !
Que Pro, que bueno Chris, que alegria tener una guitarra signature, te lo mereces por la influencia tan enorme que has plasmado en nosotros los guitarristas, que bendición
CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS! Also hearing and getting to play this guitar in person is AMAZING! Best electromatic ive ever played!! Well deserved Chris! Massive congratulations!
I love the fact that this is an Electromatic, making it far more attainable. Been a fan of Chris for a while and is great to see him get a signature model.
I just Received mine yesterday. What can I say? It's worth every penny I save. My wife's reaction when she saw the guitar on my hand was, "wooooow daddy, it looks amazing ❤" .... I played guitar for 20 years and I can say, the Quality of this is on top. Thanks Chris and Gretsch for bringing this amazing Guitar. I will use it in our Church. God bless! ❤❤❤
it's got my attention and definitely tempted.... but it no big feat just to half-copy a design that's been around 70 years. if i wanted to nitpick, i say if they are going to make a cheap version a the 6136, why just tease us with the color, gold sparkle binding, and hardware... and I wish they would have gone with the arrow G or cadillac G tailpiece (which I guess you could just buy). then, since it's a thinline and nowhere near the depth of the original, legendary 6136's from '54 til '59, i'd much prefer if they'd have gone with the thinline double cut 6136 model from '62 .........and if i really had a choice (which i don't) the appearance of the 1967 6136's configuration with stereo was what blew me away as a kid when i first saw one... that incredible row of switches (and knobs) that starts on one side of the lower bout then goes all the way around the treble side lower AND upper bouts, plus the added two mute lift knobs, and that crazy telescoping trem arm... makes it look like something from NASA in the 1960's.... but somehow still doen't look tacky.... oh well, now i think the half-way-there tease of this is just pissing me off ..... "give 'em inch and they'll take a mile"
The guitar looks and sounds great as all Gretsch’s do! Thanks for keeping it at an accessible price point. Very best wishes for your father‘s continued improvement.
God bless Chris Rocha ,, I am so going to save up to get this guitar ,, I don’t care how long it takes me 😊.. also God bless The Gretsch Company as well 😊
HS Filtertron, locking tuner, sparkle binding, and etc. This guitar has almost everything that pro line Japanese made Gretschs have in their spec. What makes this guitar an electromatic line?
This guitar is 1/3 the price of a White Falcon, but same pickups, same color. Anyone getting this instead of a WF? And has anyone compared them side by side?
I'm tired of Signature models. I buy a Gretsch I want to make it my own! Only Model(s) that are the exception is anything with Brian Setzer or a veteran Rocker like Eddie Cockerin on it.
OMG Gretsch - what are you doing. Chris Rocha is so little known he's not even on Wikipedia. And doing more searching I find he's a Christian worship guy. Then we find out this guitar has gold hardware - No - gold always tarnishes over time. The Bigsby has an after bridge bar - NO another mistake. U shaped neck - NO thanks. It does at least have HS filtertrons pups - good. But I wouldn't buy this guitar just for it having been named after a Christian worship guy. That would instantly give it evil vibes
He plays guitar for one of the biggest artist in the spanish worship music "genre". He also travels around the world to play, who also has 112k subscribers as of now on youtube. Clearly Gretsch saw his value and wanted to bring him on, there is no reason to hate, and the guitar is beautiful, if the hardware tarnishes, try and treat the guitar better and just replace the hardware when needed, it really isnt that big of a deal.
Plus if you actually research him not only does he play for the biggest band in Spanish music, he’s helped produce almost every single major artist in the Christian Spanish music genre he’s very well known in the Christian community as an amazing artist, guitarist, and producer, he was even been invited to namm multiple times. He has worked so hard for this moment and I’m very happy I’ve lived to see this moment👍🏼🔥🔥🎸
@peterhughes8699 hey are you the Gretsch Gatekeeper, you haven't been doing your job because this wasn't the first Christian artist. MIchael Guy Chislett and Nigel Hendroff have one too, and maybe more. Are you religious, because if you're not then I guess you don't believe in "evil vibes". Oh I see, you're just superstitious. Well they also signed a female artist. Mr. Hughes please contact Gretsch with your valued advice because they really need your help. Jesus loves you!
@@David_Perez06 I don't hate the guy but "worship music" is a very obscure genre followed by a small number of christian zealots. And good thing that is too cos Christianity is evil. And why buy a guitar that you have to replace all the hardware every 10 years. I sold the last gold hardware guitar I owned
@@lcglazer ok not the 1st huh. So Gretsch have other evil christians in their cupboard. Jesus doesn't love me or you. Suggest you read the Bible. The fictional Jesus and Yahweh only love some of their chosen people group (the Jews) and only those Jews who slavishly obey all their 612 rules and regulations stated in the Bible
So honored to be a part of the signature family ❤ A total dream come true!
I can’t believe they put HS filtertrons in an Electromatic. Congratulations on this beautiful signature guitar!
Once I saw Nigel get his, I knew you were next !! I'm glad to see you have your own signature model bro! God bless you !
Amen! Blessings Chris! Keep it up man! 🙏🏻🙌, love your guitar tone!

Chris this could be the most beautiful sounding Gretsch Ive ever heard! It reminds me of Wes Montgomery it covers it all. Just spectacular.
Amazing. Keep praising the Lord, Chris
This is blindingly gorgeous and well done for making it an electromatic

Chris inspired me to keep learning and not give up on learning how to play the guitar

Really stunning guitar, I’m loving the sound and the feel ❤
Spectacular Chris!
Thanks for making that neck accessible, that’s the only reason I stayed with a strat but now we have something easier to play
God bless Chris Rocha ,, I am so going to save up to get this guitar ,, I don’t care how long it takes me 😊.. also God bless The Gretsch Company as well 😊
I am from the Philippines. I pray after a year I can purchase this Gretsch Chris Rocha Signature Guitar 🙏🫶☝️
Those first couple of notes are heaven! Anyone knows which pedals are used for that tone? Wow. I mean. Wow!!
This is actually clean. High frets access and thin-ish body 🔥
Another Gretsch I need to buy.
Hey my man congratulations 🤘🏽
Congrats brother

I wanna know as well. Is it just because it’s made in Chrina? Which parts are “non-pro” quality?
Masterpiece ❤
I’m ordering oneeeee
Cheis with the real tones 🔥
Like you say, the estetics are great. That was the primary reason for me to buy Gretsch apart from being great guitars 😊
Very nice! I own a G5655QM in speyside.
Do you think this will be worth money one day? Being a signature series?
Considering this as my first gretsch
beautiful!!!
I wish the music stores in Canada had stock to try them. Maybe you guys can push a little
Chris ❤😮.....
Will we see lefty versions?
La necesitoooo

Oh YEAH...😉👍👍
When/if I get it; it’s a keeper. Nontradeable. Nonfungible.

That is such a sexy freakin guitar, cheese on rice I need one

Worship is an industry???
It’s a ministry and an industry, due to the fact that it generates money so it’s considered an industry while at the same considered a ministry
