Nope came with electric start. There isn't a recoil start on it

No I think it just has beefy coils there's no separate alternator

I know this comment is old, but the high thrust has 60 percent more thrust in forward and 70 percent more in reverse. In relation to a standard 9.9.

I don't remember one but it's been a while. Only my tohatsus have filters.

there is, you have to remove the oil drainplug en then on the plug there is a oil filter

Yep cleaned mine with starting fluid an let sit an dry

It’s not an oil filter but a cleanable screen.
