I walked out empty-handed on this day. But, I love to go in and take a look around in the hope that I'm able to find something they may have missed adding to their online store. It happens on occasion, although rare!

Goodwill is so greedy. Them putting things for sale online just smacks of greed.

@@lifeoflonny LOL they see resellers buying and selling for tone they decided if they can join in the profit they would .......Just hope they return it to the community they are in with their special programs maybe they actually are helping more people than a reseller is ???????
I'm in Florida and they just changed their policy to only three (3) days to return and no trying on clothes. And yes the prices r not great either. Goodwill isn't like it used to be. 😍

Our Thrift Stores were great, until Covid. We were pretty much in lock down, and people dumped out their homes, and Thrift Stores were loaded with good things. Not so much any more. I found nothing this month so far, and nothing for the 2 months before Christmas. Even the book sections are sparce, now.
That's exactly how it is here, Marilyn. Pre-covid was so good. This particular location was amazing. January was always my best month thrifting, too. Times have definitely changed. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
I’ve stopped shopping at Goodwill months ago. This thrift company is NOT a true non-profit. The owner is a multi-millionaire and his company doesn’t help anyone. I also don’t care for them asking at the register to “ round up” as a donation. Since, everything is donated to this company a purchase is truly a donation! Everyone should shop at their local small thrift stores and outreach/mission stores who actually DO help people in your local community.
You're not wrong, Nina. There is nothing more irritating than GW asking for a money donation at the checkout. Nope, not today! I walk out empty-handed most days. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
As always, the bad apples spoil things for everyone else. In Canada our Value Village US Savers counterpart), is definitely NOT a charity store. Huge profits with minimal donations. The prices in all these Thrift stores everywhere is crazy high now!

They are probably keeping all the good stuff for themselves. Then selling it on Ebay .

Most people with expensive homes do not think of recycling. You would have better luck going through their trash; there are videos on TH-cam to show this.
Also, Goodwill now keeps the “good stuff” and sells it on eBay.

I'm from Ky but I have been to Overland Park, KS...I have visited this Goodwill.....but not the Swift-Kelce mansion.

Our Goodwill stores transfer merchandise to other Goodwill stores. They have their own tractor trailers & they haul merchandise to various stores to see if it’ll sell at a different location. The Goodwills I used to find really quality items at no longer have that stock. A lot of it is because the resellers go in every morning & buy up everything they can possibly resell.

Trick to this is for people to stop buy from resellers ... Wouldn't that be funny too , they would be stuck with it .
Flippers advertised for them by doing videos and now they are too big for their own good. I have said this before, sounds like a good business opportunity for other thrift stores to me.

Hello: I work in Olathe. I go to Savers on Tuesday senior day. They prices are getting ridiculous. So I go to Major thrift on parker. Salvation Army on Wednesday on Santa Fe. My favorite is Blessing Abound Thrift . Turn style on 135th. Happy thrifting.

When I'm in the dinnerware isle, I'm constantly telling myself, "Be strong, Lonny, be strong" ☺️ I found a set of vintage cabbage dishes last fall and had to bring them home. I live by the multi-million dollar home in the Ahwatukee Foothills in Phoenix. The residents must be making donations. But their Goodwill is the dirtiest in Arizona. We wipe our feet when we leave! Where are the treasures going?

Multi million dollar retail spaces filled with nothing but garage sale left overs? I don't get it? Seems counter productive to me. Unless they just don't want to lose the drop off location for their free stuff?
