I’ve had two of these over the last 3 years. It protected my head brilliantly during an accident where I sustained a big whack to the head. I’ve done every kind of riding in this lid and couldn’t recommend it enough ! Don’t hesitate over any preconceptions you might have of the brand. This is the best value for money lid on the market!
Hi brothers! I am planning to order online the rpha 11 … my head shape is flat and straight.. and size is 56cm.. can you help me in deciding what size should i go for? According to hjc chart the size should be S for 55/56 cm. Is rpha11 sizing is true to size?

I have 55cm and sometimes the helmets are not right on spot with your head, I had a Scorpion Exo 1400 and I had to buy it with one size bigger since my head is rounder and the helmet is longer in shape. The best tip i can give you is to find the closest shop to you to test the helmet on your own. Since you said your head shape is longer you should try an AGV helmet too, maybe it will fit you better, this helmet has a more rounder shape. Hope it helped! Ride safe ✌🏻
I've got one of these and its a great helmet, which I can tolerate up to two hours which is when I normally stop anyway. Good ventilation.

what about sizing i wear a size medium i measure 58 cm but a lot of people say it runs small?
It runs a little more snug than other HJCs, but I wore my normal size and was fine. In some HJCs I need to move up to large, but that wasn't the case with this. There's a bit about this subject at 4:19. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

HJC's RPHA-11 Superman paintscheme was discontinued in 2021. Our stocks have long gone, but some dealers may still have the odd example knocking around. Cheers, Tony

Curious, how was the wind noise when you tested the RPHA11? I have one and it is unbearable... lol Perhaps, the wrong helmet for me and my 790 Duke?
I've looked back through my notes and there's no mention in there about noise (I wore it on two faired bikes). Quite a few people in the customer reviews describe the lid as noisy (though, as is the way, some also call it quiet!) Race helmets like this are optimised for sportsbikes, which have screens and tip the rider forward so the head tends to dip slightly. On a naked bike the head is square into the wind and unprotected by a screen. So, yes, it could well be that the helmet's aero just doesn't suit the way your 790 puts you into the windflow. I am trying to decide which one to get. What do you suggest for sport bike no track use. HJC RPHA 11 vs Shoei NXR 2?
In my opinion the NXR 2 is the superior helmet, but much of it will come down to personal preference and how well it fits. I just purchased this helmet in US, I haven't got it yet.. I have 10yr older version of this helmet and it an XL and it fits great so I ordered an XL in this one, my concern is I have heard through my research that u have to go one size higher because its tighter, but then I hear dont upsize. Does it break in over time and will get a little less snug? I don't race track but I get down on roads thanks
Going up a size is OK most of the time, but sometimes it makes a lid too big. I have a friend who loved his 2013 RPHA-10 but couldn't get on with an RPHA-11 because of the fit around the face. I would say it has a closer fit than its predecessor. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

Well I got the hjc rpha 11 pro, we talked about sizing, I didn't have to go one size higher, its snug but not enough to say no. Its perfect. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you have the visor up about 50 mph it will close by itself with the wind. I heard that in a review somewhere and its true. But other than that it great,

What is your head size, and what size helmet did you find fit best?
My head measures 59cm around, but I wear a medium in most helmets, as I did in this RPHA-11. It's snug, but that's the way to have a helmet like this. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
@@sportsbikeshop Hi.Shoei nxr is good for you also in medium size ? I have a hotpoint on head over ears on shoei and i don't know which helmet choose.Rpha 11 in medium or nxr shoei large for my 58 centimeters head.Regards
@@seweryn298 Yup, I wore a medium in both of those helmets (my head is 59cm around). I'd always recommend going for the smallest size that's comfortable, so worth finding out if the RPHA-11 in M gives you the room you need before deciding which route to take. Cheers, Tony
@@seweryn298same here whit the nxr2 , try arai quantic M size. It fits me perfectly
