I started finishing new cabinets for a shop recently and my pricing has been a lf price so far but would prefer an easier way to bid off of prints so looking at opening count right now. Wondering though, does your price include finishing the inside of the boxes and any end panels? I finish all end panels and lacquer inside the boxes and have been around $120 a lf. but want to make sure im comparing apples to apples before using your numbers to consider opening count
Didn’t misspeak. Price out $100-$200 in sundries. Order 2k polyurethane topcoat and high build vinyl primer prolly 2-3 gallons of each due to spraying you’re looking at $100 a gallon so you tell me

@@austinrd23 I never painted the inside of the boxes. Just the outside + front and back of doors + any edges you can see when the doors are open.
You're smart for doing it this way, thanks for a great video!
Of course! 💪🏼
Is this estimate good for painting only? Can I do it to estimate cabinets?
Where do you bid on cabinets is there websites how do you get in the door to place bids
I have a video about getting residential leads. Check that one out!
Does this work with stained cabinets as well?
I don’t do much staining of cabinets but I’m sure you could price it similarity and be just fine depending on material costs.
How did you measure the liner foot?
Measuring tape or laser.
And do you charge lf for trim ? What cost 3$ ?
Not in residential. Residential is done by floor SF of the home, in commercial I charge per substrate, so yes.
Hello, you said you wouldn’t recommend emerald urethane? Why not?
30 day cure times and the fact that it doesn’t meet KCMA standards
@@TheEasiestBusiness oh I didn’t know that, thank you for that information. And also the 3750$ price is also for the cabinets inside and out??
I didn't measure LF can I go just with door and drawer count ?
Of course brother. You can price however you want. I was just showing the 2 most common methods.
@@TheEasiestBusiness Thank you I'll follow the same breakdown as prior bids as include exclude
The most helpful video 👍👍
Thank you! 💪🏼
$1,000 in material? How you figure that? Primer & paint is no more than $300. You pay $700 for sundries? Either that or you misspoke?
