The muffler shield/duct should send a whole lot of BTU's out of the engine compartment. That would be the biggest bang, for your buck and even better with the extra fan going. Another great episode.
I'm really enjoying your modifications. Great video. One thing I like about these machines is that the price point I'm not afraid to modify them. Where is if I had a 30_40 thousand dollar Kubota, I'd want to keep it under glass
No I didn't. It was cold here and it seemed like a good time to make some improvements. The general opinion of them needing better cooling seemed like a no brainer. I did run it for about 3 hours on a warm day 68 f ( for this time of year ) and the hydraulic oil stayed just under 40 c. The muffler shield does seem to guide hot air from the muffler out the back vent holes.

2:45 I like the muffler, good job.
The kernel of what could be a great video.

I am enjoying the Fabracobble on the Mini!! It’s becoming a great utility unit!!
Great job! Thank you for speaking slowly when explaining. 👍
That turned out awesome, great work.
That looks great! I think I see my next project there.
I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for making them!
Looks great, that is a big improvement. I'm going to PU my new mini digger next week as well.
Cool mods. GREAT IDEAS.
Nice work there. How about making a rack to hold tractor weights, as a counterweight
Did you make a before and after video of the noise improvement? or the temperature improvement? Thanks for making this video.

Would it be a good idea to run a shield under the drive motors? if so would it just pack dirt in them? My H12 order should arrive next week.
Pop ur decking it out... Looks good keep it up
You do nice work
great job buddy!! subbed!
Great job
What to do on those long winter days
What were signs of overheating?
I have never had it over heat but everyone says they do. I hope to prevent that from happening.
Do you know the difference from a QH12 and a QH12R?
Sorry no I don't.
The QH12R has additional vent holes cut out on the back corners of the body.
Hitch be nice when digging and can put dirt right into a cart as your moving
My cart isn't up to the task.
@@kevincrawford2027 lol I guess next project lolol
Looks like yours has the same problem mine has no air filter access
VERY GOOD IDEA
Next seen on the new mad max video
This factory is the worst among our local manufacturers. This company's products are very rubbish. We have many good brands in China.
That's the pot calling the kettle black.
You mind naming some?
