He loves all of his creation, and wants you, yes you! to turn from your ways and accept Him as your savior, as your God. You will surely gain eternal life if you turn to the Lord. I pray that you would all accept His grace!
We're at the vanguard now. Orthodoxy was severely suppressed or killed off with the 66 million faithful in the USSR, and for 500 years under the yoke of the Ottomans in Greece, Cyprus, and the Middle East. It is just getting started in missionizing the West and the rest of the world. Exciting times!

@@david-468 most ROCOR churches in the US do have Ukrainian aid. A lot of ROCOR parishes have a lot of Ukrainians that attend too. But there are OCA parishes around the Midwest. I don’t know any specific ones cause I don’t live there personally but I know they’re there.
@@david-468 charities come in many different forms. Like already mentioned they’re probably just trying to fundraise to help with what they can and outside help can be good. My parish recently did a can drive for a Protestant run soup kitchen locally. Some make items to send over seas, some raise funds, etc. don’t let it steer you away from getting a good orthodox “experience”. It may very well be the place that you grow spiritually.
Sorry to hear that. I just became interested in Orthodoxy. I’m in BC and St Herman’s is 25 min drive. So I’m very fortunate. I could go to a Protestant church 10 min from me, but I rather learn more about Orthodox..🙏🏽❤️🔥

Sadly, they are not in communion with the Eastern Orthodox, so I doubt he would consider it.
