Been a fan since 95. Hurley got that Calhoun vibe back.. for those who say UCONN isn't a blue blood. How then do they have the Most Chips since 99..#UCONN. So glad they went back to the big east! It was needed..
It think the reason they don't consider y'all a blood blue is the inconsistencies after winning the championship. Weather it's coming up short in the tournament, recruiting, finishing middle of the pack in conference. When the iron is hot u gotta keep that way...... Kansas Duke and Kentucky do not have that problem, maybe Kentucky as of late, but they recruit 5* every yr which will keep them relevant........going to the AAC didn't help either
@@cleer2804 see I would agree with that. But in the 90s Duke had a few below par seasons, let alone early tournament upsets in thr early '10s for example VCU and Leigh. Once K adopted the 1n done mindset and coaching team USA we see them coming back, but they have won a chip in coming on 10 years. Let alone been to the finals North Carolina has been down before Williams got there for a few years and a few with Roy ther Kansas, also early tournament exits and almost 20 years between championships. They've got 2 basically in the last 30 years. I agree the AAC move was not good

Kansas imo stays relevant because they win the big 12 reg season/ tourney like every yr which gives them a top 1-4 seed every yr. Kentucky is Kentucky.......NC is done lol.....I think if UConn wins the reg season or BE tourney, get to the elite 8, get Cooper flagg and the blue blood thing may stick. Interesting conversation. But the reality is the Big East is the best basketball conference in the country. Unfortunately, most sports personalities are less than objective. Didn’t hear these guys mention UCONN rolled every non-conference opponent by double digits. Regular season and postseason. I agree with their statement that this UCONN team is not the greatest team in history. But we need to understand they are the greatest team given the current state of men’s college basketball.
