    Thanks for the review! Does it have on board memory for the programmed buttons? Would you know, if it can be used on other laptops with saved programmed button functions, without need of installing the software on those other laptops?

    • @NEON-Jai
      @NEON-Jai  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It has on board memory, you can save 5 profiles to it. This should allow you to use the mouse on other computers without installing the software. I haven’t tried it personally. Hopefully someone has and can confirm?

    You only need to buy the wireless puck for bottom of the mouse then you can use any QI charger. I have a cheap one that I place mouse on when I shut my pc down.

    The 6 button set is nice, but then you lose the G11 and G12 602 buttons. I also have a G602 but the mouse keeps having a mind of its own and randomly loses track of itself. I think it's a software issue, but I can't figure out what it is that's doing it. So I'm starting to look for another mouse. I even swapped out the mouse with my Son's G602 and still has the same issue, so it's not the physical mouse, but something software or dongle related, some sort of interference. I don't know but I've basically had it with this issue and am starting to be willing to play what ever get it fixed. I use to use Razer, but I've never had a single Razer last more than 2 years. My Logitechs have lasted way longer, my old G9 I think it was called lasted me nearly 6-7 years.

    okay about the scroll wheel thing, for some games you can actually set up your scroll wheel as a jump button, or an interact button, or any similar input that you want to spam like no tomorrow, i use bhop inputs for nearly every game i play sometimes even if bhopping isnt really viable i just like to be able to jump with the scroll wheel but that aside the scroll wheel actually is very helpful for repeating inputs like that and obviously just makes scrolling through menus generally a little bit better, scrolling through items or weapons feels nice as well especially with the customizability of the tension so you can go one weapon at a time or all the way across a hotbar, i found personally i like adaptive scrolling best out of the presets since flicking the scroll wheel down over and over again is substantially less cool and useful with higher resistance, but at the same time, i’d like to be able to scroll through hotbars and weapons etc, without having to swap to the wrong weapon and go back to the right one its also helpful for just avoiding accidentally rubbing over the scroll wheel and making an input since it starts with more resistance, if you frequently use scroll wheel inputs, this is actually a game changer

    this is not really an issue because you can change your sensitivity in game. but using the 2.4 connector my mouse sensitivity is much slower on the same dpi. 800 dpi should be 800 dpi no matter how the mouse is connected I thought. but maybe not.
    currently i just was afk and my mouse goes into sleep mode to save the battery. I woke the mouse up but it didn't reconnect to my computer. So I had to swap to 2.4 connector then back to bluetooth and now it's suddenly connected again.
    12 buttons is great for MC like games. games with 9 slot hotbars. you get used to them after pressing for the same item after a while. having extra ctrl alt or exit buttons on the mouse i find handy for not needing to find them with my other hand. or for fps games if you struggle to find your buttons with your left hand while moving it's handy to put them on your mouse. crouch,nade, punch.
    i also used to have a wired version of this mouse and the clicking was much more silent. the clicking on the wireless one is clearly louder though.

    I've gone through so many mice. If Logitech software and razer could get together for this mouse it might be the perfect mouse for productivity. The side buttons work great. But yea the software is some what solid. When it works its great but it does just often drop or disconnect

    • @NEON-Jai
      @NEON-Jai  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s been very consistent for me since the software updates. I don’t get disconnections. Only a small, like a second of delay when coming back from stand by occasionally. But overall, I’m happier with the Razer than the Logitech mice I had.

    Question.
    Im not clear on the battery issue.
    I know about the puck stuff.
    My question is does the battery that comes with it rechargeable?
    Or do I need to buy a certain battery or is the one it comes with plug and charge?

    for low battery light:
    the Razer Naga Pro dies have that. (i mean, it also has RGB light on the scrollwheel, which the V2 doesnt have)
    when the Naga Pro has low battery, the Razer Logo turns off, and the mourse wheel starts blinking red (i think its below 10% battery).
    but for me personally its not a big thing, cause i have a Razer battery indicator on my Streamdeck. so i am fine.
    for me it is a downer that the V2 has no light on the mouse wheel, but its understandable, thinking of how many tech must be in there for the adjustable scrollwheel tension and such.
    what sadened me on the Naga Pro: the 12 button sidepiece has light on the side buttons, while the 6 button sidepiece has no light. and it seems that the V2 has the same thing? :(
