Why are there no more videos about the steps of rebuilding the pilot house or finishing touches on the rest of the boat. Your shorts and outtakes are okay but I'd like to see more of the restoration. Your last video on the restoration was over 5 months ago.

This absence of build videos coupled with closure of comments creates an unpleasant feeling and can only lead to damaging speculation. I'm unsure why anyone would want that.

I enjoy the building as well but the background of the boat is also important as to why they are restoring the boat. I’m sure there are more to come as it’s 90% done and 90% to go.

Excellent material in the fine details of minds at work unraveling the mysteries of life in this world. Deep, Ricketts must have been in so many ways from early on.

Simply an amazing project with an amazing backstory and amazing craftsman. Really enjoying the series, great work. A bunch of my friends took a boat building course ( 4 yrs) in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada back in the 90’s. Wish I had of taken it too!! 🇨🇦🦞🇨🇦

An intricate web relating things to one another. Helps me feel at home and part of something much bigger than my daily concerns.

I had to slow this down to a quarter speed in order to catch the shot of where she must be in Kodiak waters during the heydays of the 60s king crab fishing there, loaded (overloaded) with likely 6 by 6' pots. If they'd encountered any weather or icing.... adios. What a vessel.

Thank you for this quick little tidbit of history about Mr. Ricketts.

OK now this is just too short of a clip to develop in what is obviously a much larger story. Good to know this is part of a much larger, complex, interview. I'll remember this one and that there is more to come.

Very important to train one's mind to think on all things in relation to one.
