Reed friggen Timmer talking about upstate NY. I apologize, just super stoked to have gone out and chased for the first time since actually obtaining the knowledge on how to properly read radar. Such a rarity to see cyclical supercells so robust in the finger lakes region. Mr. Timmer, you have been more than an influence over the years and to simply hear you call out towns and villages that I’ve spent my life around is simply amazing. Had no idea you covered this event live so this video just ends the day in gratitude. For all of your efforts and passion in weather and for Team Dominator this year alone, I have to write a ridiculously long message that doesn’t even begin to express the appreciation of the educational, spontaneously hilarious and devoted content that you and your team have blessed us with. Hey Reed, I live right next to Sodus Point...Living on the lake. Large storm surge, No Hail. Lots and lots of heavy downpours with Sun showing itself then darkens. Strong wind shears. Very tropical humid weather. Clearing now as of 3:15 PM Thank you. 7/10/2024

I’m in Liverpool, NY (near Syracuse) and we got a tornado warning from 4:15 to 5:00 PM. We’re continuing to get warnings and it’s honestly pretty scary. It’s rare for us to get tornadoes around here. *knocks on wood*

I got people from the Adirondacks to Syracuse. Disabled sis is taking her grandbaby and pups to basement. 🤦♀️We never used to have tornados. SMH. Wish l was there to help her. Thank you Dr. Reed. 🥴🙏
I live in Syracuse and my NOAA Weather Radio was going absolutely nuts. I’ve never seen or heard anything like it here in NY. It was a crazy day for sure.

Im in the Jamestown Area. It's so crazy how people panic up here when we get a Nader warning. It's like getting snow in Texas.😂😂😂 I walked into work, and everyone was on their phones. Oh, FYI, Busti is pronounced Bus-tie ty for the video! Love your channel!

I'm central NY, about an hr NE of Syracuse, over near Adirondack Mtns......make this crazy weather stop! There have been tornado watches and warnings all day and still continuing! These storms are nuts. I'm sure a tornado was forming near my home as it was insane, then there was a confirmed tornado just outside of Boonville, which is just NE of me! I got stuck in Hamilton down near Nirwich today because of the weather as the power was out and apparently a small tornado was indicated near there, so I was stuck there for 3 hours to wait for an xray. I can't get over how these hurricane remnants affect so many states!!
I was in the path of one of these storms I'm just lucky I didn't get hit I'm sending out my hopes and prayers for the people that got hit hard

So Reed, has the climate 🤔 in U S. Shifted east. I was born in Texas, I'm used to Tornadoes, but not so far east and northeast. Just asking because you understand climate more than most everyone.

I chased a couple of these storms. I actually changed my target cell because of Reed's stream lol. Didn't tornado but a very beautiful supercell.

Drove through a big storm around Jamestown it was intense!
No fatalities. Lots of road hazards that have been cleared, a crystal rock water truck driver on Sisson highway should go buy a lotto ticket, and lots of houses without roofs. No serious injuries. All can be replaced but lives.
