BUDDYMOON DAY 348/1000 (VLOG 86)
After a couple of days in Delhi, we made our way towards Agra. We travelled via train in a first-class AC cabin. It was the first time we have ever travelled via train, it was the first time we have ever been in first-class, and it was also our first time in Agra - so that was a hattrick on the firsts and we were SUPER EXCITED!
We were running late for the train, and due to all the traffic and chaos around Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, we were a bit worried that we would miss our train. Luckily we booked our tickets in advance on 12go.asia/en and there were some really friendly people who helped us along the way. I think they could tell that we were rookies at this.
The train ride was a quick 2 hours and 45 minutes and before we knew it, we had arrived in Agra Cantt. We were super impressed with our cabin. It was a comfortable ride the whole way which included exploring the train, sussing out the toilet situation, trying some Indian snacks and making some local friends onboard.
Once we arrived in Agra, we checked into our hotel and headed to a restaurant to try some local cuisine.

Hey man one request to you please do not stand at the door when the train is moving cause on a bad day something very bad might happen and it happens quite frequently in India and if you still want to stand at the door then please don't dangle your limbs out of the door and the worst thing is what you were doing at 6.34 just resting your hand on the handle and leaning on it what if you just slipped actually this is what happens most of the time so if you have to have stood on the door then please atleast grab both the handles on both side of the door and if it is really important for you to record the video while standing on the door then please grab the handle atleast with one hand as tight as if it is the last hope for your life and in my personal suggestion do not stand on the door while the train is moving and never do the stupid mistake of resting your palm on the handle and recording with the other hand instead grab the handle tightly because those handle are damn slipary and this suggesstion is coming to you from an Indian having years of travelling experince on indian trains, please be safe and enjoy your trip. And yeah, it's super nice to provide blankets and pillows. However, I do think that the train goes much further than where we climbed off, so it's there in case you are on the longer trips 😊
In any indian place if u face communication barrier always find students (age between 22 to 28)they always help you just like buddies and u also doesn't face language issues❤

@4:22 - the coach no is written on the train (B/5)
The train stops at the designated coach position as mentioned in the black screen.

Same way.. train number , coach number and seat number mentioned on ticket.
Just u need to find platform first when u enter main gate there is board display show all about train number and platform.
Then reach your platform and then wait for your train . When your train about to come to platform your train number and coach position. Just reached to your coach. And find seat number written on seat

10:40 One point to note on the toilets in the indian trains is if you find the toilet is 'indian style' (hole in the ground type) the one opposite will always be a western style.

You seem to be nice guys... However I would request you to do proper planning before jumping into crowded shabby old cities... I was surprised that you jumped into old ancient Delhi without having a look at New Delhi properly... Could have stayed in Aerocity or other modern areas... Could have developed your habit of ordering food online using mobile phone (you can even order from the train)... You should reserve your tickets and hotels and cabs online.... India has every level of comfort and luxury available... Also thousands of beautiful spots in nature... Plan your travel and stay well ahead of time carefully... Have a nice time... Best wishes....

Generally, rail tickets will hv all the details including coach , berth etc - Even coach as to where it will be in the platform is well highlighted - not sure , how you guys missed it ! 🤔
However, Yes this station hazrat nizamuddin is a busy station & entrance little noisy & congested . It is advisable to plan arrival T platform atleast 30 mins in advance !
Actually this rail route has the fastest train in India but perhaps you missed out booking in that one !

Ah yes, the madness of finding your seat on an Indian train :)
You seem to have solved the car/class signage correctly - S1, S2, S3 etc are Sleeper Class cars that usually number 1-15 or so because it's the most popular class. B1, B2 and so on are class AC3, or Air Conditioned 3rd class. A1 and A2 are class AC2. HA1 is class AC1.
After that you have to find your seat, which is easy in Sleeper, AC3 and AC2 since there are both signs by the doors of the cars which seats go towards which end of the car, and then there are little signs by each seat/berth that tell you exactly where you're at.
In class AC1 (the usually only one car marked HA1) you have those cabins with doors, but who goes into which cabin is not determined until just before the train departures. So it's best to just get on, find the car's service personnel, show them your ticket + ID and ask which cabin you're in. They'll have a just-of-the-presses fresh list with the cabins and the names of which people go where.

I'm from Hyderabad. Honestly, we ourselves are scared of the chaos in Delhi, Agra and other places in the north.
So many muslims make it scary.
In first class Indian train the seats are assigned only in the last minute before preparing the chart. Also the seats you are sitting are not the ones you sleep on. You need to bring the wider back seat down to have a wider bed. So remove the locks on the cushion behind you when you sit and put the seat Down.
