The reason why the Vada Pav stall won’t say how much they sell in a day is because they don’t want to get in trouble with the tax authorities as they don’t generate bills for their sales and most probably under report their turnover
I was thinking the same thing. Small shops still avoid paying taxes
Hopefully, new electronic payment system may further provide some visibility, but who knows
@@rkd2009 but why do you want to know lol?
@@rkd2009 asli id say aao income tax officer
Also they dont want to jinx their business.. they feel that they will get an evil eye on their business if they tell about their sales

Finally someone eating Marathi food. Thank you 🤗
Strawberry and kiwi are exotic fruits in india. That's why it's expensive. Otherwise juices will not cost more than 100 at all.
They had the fancy juice but missed the authentic buttermilk! And they called it lassi!
@@mimmi732523:09
Being a born Mumbaikar, i am so so proud of you two!! You guys had the best misal and vada pav. And yes Modak are same as sweet dumpling. Please so try Thalipeeth in Aaswad and sabudana vada in Prakash. 100% agreed - HajiAli is too much expensive.
PS. Fried chilles are given in general you need not eat it, i never do 😂😅
Hahhaha, ah, thank you so much, Nikki. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video😁 Lol can't believe Daniel ate that chilli🤣🤣🤣 but we really enjoyed the food that we had in Mumbai. 😁
@@thebuddymoon chillies are not given in genreal you can definately eat chilly with vadapav some people dont like eating spicy so they throw it away but eating chilly gives that extra spicyness and most of the people eat and thats the reason they serve it with vada pav.
@@thebuddymoon and you have to take a small bite of chilly with every bite of vadapav but you ate half of the chilly🤣🤣
Maharashtrian chillis are really hot, I had Puran Poli/Koli i don't actually remember the name forgive me it was spicy. It's too spicy but Vada Pav, Misal Pav is love. I love Maharashtrian food. Just not the spicy one. Love from East India (Kolkata)
@@jarhead11691 puranpoli is actually a sweet dish.. its not spicy.. but sometimes its served with a curry that may be spicy.. or you may had komdi vade
Best part of indian food is that it is unapologetic...its sweet its sweet,if its spicey it is ,if it is buttery it is...so enjoy every bite
@0:14, the dog in the background looks so comfy! 🤣🤣
Tip: For stomach problem take buttermilk known as Chaas or Chaach.
It's actually Lassi minus butter.
It's generally salty with spices like cumin etc to fix stomach cramps.
Available with dairy shops and grocery stores. Non branded and Branded like from Amul etc.
I agree 👍 50th like on the comment is mine🎉😅😂
@buddymoon should listen him.
They don't like chaach. It is too salty for them.
foreigners dont like namkeen milk
Watching you two is enjoyable at all times. You both strike me as adorable, adventurous, and fun couples. Keep visiting India, and we'll be here to welcome you back with open arms.
2 Vada paavs and 2 cups of tea is enough for a day in Mumbai. Actually it is a local Maharastrian dish but now available all over India even on the small road side restaurants on Himalayas.
I hate the vada pav outside Maharashtra. Damp squib.
@@70newlife You will even hate idli and dosa outside South India.
Some more suggestions to try out in Mumbai
1.Kheema Pav at Gulshan-e-Iran, Crawford Market
2. Samosa with Chola at Guru Kripa, Sion
3. Parsi Cuisine at Kyaani and Co.
4. Falooda at Baadshah, Crawford Market
The way you described the Indian food I have craving for all the dishes. Amazing video
Thank you Kunal, we are so happy to hear that you are enjoying our videos 😊

the modak is made from rice floor (which is very slippery, clumsy and taste nothing)but traditional maharashtrian modak is made by wheat floor it never sleeps away from hand 😋

Dear burger is a brand but
VADAA PAV is an emotion for us😊😊😊
You guys are great, Im a Indian living in the US for the last 20 some years and videos like this especially you guys enjoying, hopefully not pretending ... brings joy to my eyes.... Fire Video Fam! new subscriber
That subtitles were terrific when it captioned missal pav as missile power 😂
Put 2 fat chillis in there and it's literal missile power out of your cheeks next morning
And modak as more duck !!! Really?
Its auto generated
India thrives on fruits and vegetables.
There's a reason India is called Food heaven because the unmatchable plethora of vegetarian dishes running into millions.
The green chutney is cilantro leaves with tamarind juice grounded with a pinch of sugar
Kanda poha is a light food for breakfast. These crunchy chips are fritters in Vada pav. I am sure, he sells more than 1000 per day Vada pav. You can ask for extra Pav (they will charge you some extra money like 10 or 20), if you have Bhaji left on your plate. Also, you have to mix Butter with Bhaji on your plate before eating.
Not less then 5000
So happy to see you guys enjoying in my city! have fun guys!
I don,t know why but I get angry 😡😡too much when someone tell you more price than the ordinary price

I live in US budyy, and I am jealous of you guys now, But thank you so much to showcase a perfect city for street food in India, you will get a tons of taste in food across India that you never tasted in your entire life. It is very vibrant and delicious. I am tired of eating bland food here.
I loved your reaction throughout the video.
It's good that you went with recommendations for food. The dishes you tried are the authentic Mumbai dishes originated either in Mumbai or some other parts of Maharashtra.
Daily vada pav sale must be in thousands. The Vada pav seller was not telling his daily sale to hide it from tax authorities. There are many instances when tax authorities raided some of these famous sellers for understating their sale. Once they even counted dishes thrown in trash bins nearby😂
Vada pav not less then 5000
Because of india all youtubers grow very faster..❤️
If Daniel continued to have this amount of chilly he would become 100% Indian. You guys exploring food indian make me drool. Great job guys! Big fan
Food challenge in India?!! I think to try all the food variety india offers it would take ages but still some will be left. India offers a variety of food from cheap to expensive but everyone won't disappoint you.

I stumbled across this cos finally my YT algorithm aligned! This is hands down the best video I have seen of folks from other countries sample mumbai food and enjoy it authentically! Indian spice is no joke and even more so when you brave it on the home front...kudos to both of you to put on such a courageous front! Much love ❤️
It's a pleasure to see u people enjoying our marathi (maharashtrian) food😍😍😍😍... God blessed you people 😅
I have been to Mumbai only twice. But when Leanne said it’s not too spicy, still flavourful( for pav bhaji ), I knew you guys went to right place.
From what I know about Ashok Vada pav, they were the ones who pioneered the dish decades ago.
Usually its not the restaurants but roadside carts known for "may cause food poisoining problems ".
Standing in front of the iconic Victoria Terminus / Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus and saying "This doesn't look like Mumbai" is like standing in front of the Eifel Tower and saying "this doesn't look like Paris!"🤦♂🤦♀😂🤣
Daniel in front of Pyramids of Giza: "This doesn't look like Egypt!!"
It's was an icon in Bombay but their reaction is partly justified since the architecture is European not Indian
because foreigners have image like Mumbai have tall tall buildings with Morden Architecture but that cst is look like European building . thata why
@@rajeevgangal542 justified if you have no clue India was colonized by European countries maybe, and no clue about the history of the city you're visiting perhaps. But still a bit silly to say that about what is probably the most iconic building of that city.
@@user-nt3dn4lk9y I think it's more coz they have an image like Dharavi and Slumdog Millionaire. Because tall tall buildings have just come in the last few years but these classic iconic buildings have been there for many decades, so they should be the actual real image of Mumbai, haina

Your filming skills are better than those so called big youtubers
Kudos you actually got the best items to eat in the city. Much Respect 👍
The buddymoon is becoming my fav blogger since their visit to my country INDIA❤❤❤ m proud of their visit to MUMBAI and love their way of presentation ❤❤
Plz you try GULAB JAMUN , BIRFI , RUSMALAI , LADDOO,
Hajiali is really good, but very expensive.. You can get 3 separate glasses of Mango, Strawberry and Kiwi in any other fruit juice shop for the same price.
Even indians hardly eat half a chilly in one go. Daniel was very brave in what he did but you generally just take a very small bite especially if its dark green chillies which are much spicier. Loved the video btw!
Pohe is what I used to eat daily for breakfast when I was living in India. Missing it. Modak is a traditional dish in Maharashtra, from where I belong in India.❤
Indeed Vada Pav is sometimes referred as Indian burger. It is a potato ball/patty and not a dumpling. I guess they might be selling around 5000 in a day😅
Pav Bhaji aren’t spicy ever, if it’s spicy then it is definitely not the authentic. You had an authentic one. ❤
She's so modest! Blaming the weather for being hot in general 🤭
Hmmm 🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚
@2:31 first time I have seen a foreginer holding the pav and eating it properly.. Kudos..
Hey! I highly recommend exploring Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and the northeastern states of India as they are among the most stunning destinations in the country. Moreover, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have one of the best beaches in Asia, including the breathtaking Radhanagar Beach. And if you're looking for an incredible experience, the road trip from Manali to Leh is an absolute must-see.
They should put advertisement on pupular transit airports and should open office to guide the foreigners. 🙏

Such a good bada pav is available in the streets of Mumbai, so imagine how tasty the famous bada pav would be in Mumbai.. 😋😋

At last u came to Mumbai..🔥
Welcome to Mumbai guys..🥰❤️💪🔥
Veg or non veg cant argue much against indian foods. They r an absolute best .😂
Definitely is Mumbai, the city has been heavily influenced by the British colonial era and the station is most iconic 😊 in areas such as Bandra you can see the Portuguese left a huge mark. Nice you tried local foods ✌
this is mumbai, Chatrapti Shivaji Maharaj Land..........not blody Britishers and Portuguese,,,
0:03 that's the main identity of Mumbai...r u kidding me
U guys had 1 pao bhaji and felt stuffed!! Whenever i visit cannon, i have like 3 of them with the lassi...and finish it on my own!! Loved that u tried vada pao and misal pao...
Fun fact: aaswad's misal pao was voted as the world's tastiest vegetarian dish in the world in 2015!!! So good job eating there..
They had misal pav, vada pav, and a modak with tea before so sounds legit I guess
@@Shubh11181 yeah i guess so.. for total newbies they did pretty well..
the streets look alright, very clean
After seeing them eating Vada Pav, I ordered a foot long Subway for myself even though I was full.😂
10$ may be less for meals in Mumbai but far more than enough in tier-2 cities like Indore/Bhopal which will give a better experience when it comes to experience Indian culture, outskirts village life and more.
This is some great stuff..❤❤
You both are very humbled we can feel it❤❤love from india❣️
Ashok Vadapav is the place from where Vadapav originated...

My bro's reaction after eating the Chili....😂😂
You missed custard apple cream
That’s the bold one in Haji Ali juice center
11:50 the famous street vendors won’t usually reveal how much they sell per day cuz that indicates how much money they make on daily basis. And giving out that information can put them under radar of the income tax department and the all such money related authorities.
Such incidents have happened in the past where several “street vendors” were making enough to own 3-4 bungalows, but didn’t pay income tax saying they merely earn anything. 😂
10:01 We give full and sweet food to whoever comes to us, that's how we are Mumbaikars
