Ryan and Nico are the only judges that could appreciate and try to understand the art from Freddie. Everyone else in that Panel just felt intimidated by something they couldn't even understand. I mean, they were contradicting themselves while criticizing Freddie's Tattoos. I'm just happy that a lot of people could see this and Freddie is getting a lot of support for it. Freddie deserved the win. Bobby is a great tattoo artist. But we’ve seen those three tattoos all season. Freddie’s final pieces were ground breaking. Basically the future ink master can just do their style the whole season & ignore every challenge. The one time bobby stepped out and did a western tattoo it was awful, and should’ve been eliminated. Freddie’s first time doing black and grey? He did a game changing tattoo. But it offended bubba Irwin? Very disappointed
The thing that irked me was that Bubba heard DJ say “it made me want to vomit.” Then he goes back stage and repeats the exact thing DJ said. How weird is that!

I loved all 3 finalists and I feel bad for Bobby in a sense that he can’t enjoy his win when such a disservice was done to Freddie, but I am absolutely devastated for Freddie. I personally would wear and seek out Bobby’s work, but that doesn’t make it “better” than Freddie’s. It’s hard bc art is so subjective, but Freddie was hands down the most creative, innovative and among one of the most technical. We never saw anything from anyone like we saw from Freddie. We will talk about Freddie longer than we will talk about Bobby, at least in relation to Ink Master. It really bums me out that the judges were almost all men who just couldn’t see the message in the piece. If anything that finale highlighted the purpose of the piece .. much love to everyone tho. But that was whack!! Also Jon’s snake was the best tattoo of the whole season 🤷♀️
Freddie is by a long shot the most visionary ink master to ever be on the show and in art and tattoo as well. Banksy Picasso tattoo ink guru like master yoda.

Freddie legit deserved the win. Bobby’s first tattoo was great, but I didn’t see the head of the snake on it, I couldn’t get over the lack of a face on the smaller woman in his second tattoo, and the woman his third tattoo just easily paled in comparison to the woman in Freddie’s third tattoo. Freddie’s tattoos were my favorite all season long, and the finale proved no different. His bold styles were much more deserving than Bobby’s safer designs.
The judges just were too one minded in their way of thinking except for when Ryan talked about art being emotive and making you feel something. Freddie is a tattoo influencer and has created his own style that isn’t comparable to others which is why he suffered in the finals, they were looking for what they knew not for the possibilities of what could be.
Freddie was ahead of his time as an artist, he pushed boundaries even the judges were torn about, I think he will pave a new way in the tattoo industry, he has a unique style that is recognisable as Freddie and if you had a tattoo from him everyone would know it was a Freddie tattoo. He could turn skin into paint, combine styles that people wouldn’t naturally combine and from beginning to end learnt, improved, but stayed true to himself as an artist. The other finalists were amazing technicians too but their work could be replicated by any other top game tattooist out there. No one could replicate Freddie, he was a standalone and a leader for what tattoo could be and could become, he pushed boundaries and never played it safe. I hope the show brings him back again somehow because he has a lot to show the tattoo art world that hasn’t been seen before.
i really thought anthony would swing for freddie because he historically has appreciated art with a message. pretty bummed out that he went with the safe option voting for bobby. freddie is a fucking visionary! the girls who get it, get it. and those girls who don’t, don’t!!

Freddie's 3rd 12 hour tattoo was my favorite tattoo of the finale. If it was just one final tattoo. That piece was deserving of the title. I appreciate his artistic eye. However, Bobby was the most consistent with his tattoos and unfortunately Jon's tattoos got progressively worse.
There were like, "How dare he take a woman grabbing her tits and make it ugly? How dare he ruin our male gaze? If you're going to tattoo a naked woman, she should be hot. You can't scribble over her face!" And all of that very much feels like the point. They didn't say that exactly but considering how Ink Master judges consistently favor attractive ladies in tattoos & how drawing an attractive woman is a challenge every season, I can't help but think that's the reason they didn't found it so disturbing they wanted to puke.

I think Freddie scared the tattoo industry because you can't find anything like his tattoos anywhere. The usual tattoos are all copies of each other. Or a variation of what we have already seen dozens of times. He gave them all a kick up the backside, and they didn't like it. I can't see them ever letting him win a Finalé.

i like Freddie's tattooes. they're like modern paintings on skin. he may tend to over exaggerated some designs but overall they're cool to look at. only issues are proportions (for like human anatomy) that the judges are too unforgiving, but if given creative freedom, expect he could out match any challenges thrown to him.

Your tattoos do not copy actual parts or themes of paintings where the word was normally used in connection with art but is a JUXTAPOSITION of many styles to make your own unique style, one which can’t be described by current tattoo terminology.
The first thing I thought when I looked at the black and grey tattoo was “I don’t think I like it at all.” And that’s what I simultaneously loved about it.
I would 100% be one of Freddie's clients if I lived in the UK. If I ever find out he comes to the Midwest of US for tattoo conventions, I will absolutely go to get tattooed by him! I loved everything he did this season. He should come back again in another season like Cleen and Christian used to.
As a women, I found the black and grey tattoo of the angry women so beautiful and intriguing. I couldn’t look away and in a sense I’m like “man I get it” but maybe that would be uncomfortable for a straight man. And honestly when I see a nude women on a man I always just roll my eyes a little bit too. Not this.
I've been wanting to get a new tattoo for a while but never knew how to portray it to an artist, until i saw freddies work. I would love to get a tattoo from him!! I want to see what he would do with ideas! Saving up now!
Ryan mentioned naming Freddie's style of tattoos. I've a suggestion, "Kintsugi" which is a Japanese art form of highlighting imperfections and or mending broken areas which is seen in his art form and style to my eye.

This dude seems so genuine, awesome person to be around and a fantastic artist! This Ink master season was amazing! One of my favorites so far...but I know he deserved to win because his work is so outstanding and different from everything out there. It's like a painting you could only have done once, it's a true really unique style! No offense to Bobby tho because he's amazing and has beautiful artwork done but his tattoos are more art noveau style and can be found elsewhere while Freddie's are unique, you'll Get something never done by other artists.
I mean, Ryan did vote for Freddie. Also they made it onto ink master.. they’re all amazing artists to even make it that far! Of course they’re gonna praise their works. In my opinion, I believe Freddie should’ve won. None of the tattoos on the show were actually really bad, they’re just being compared to some insanely good artists. The judges just need something to pick at and they’re gonna find every little detail.
You have to see that Ryan and the other judges are pay to judge the work according to what they were asked and the time limit, and if they can't accomplish that, against the other competitors, then they have to critic them accordingly, even if we don't agree with the outcome. And Ryan on this post elimination series because she's been graceful and very supportive of every single one of the eliminated artist, and she makes a point to make them see is not their art as whole but what the challenge was that make them be eliminated l. Is not two face or a slap in the face, is the game they accepted to play, and with this series, they try to make the audience see this artist are more than what they could show during the competition l

very, very predictable season. from the first episode with all the judges so far up bobby's ass it was clear he was going to win with a clear guaranteed spot in the final 3. besides being competent I wasn't impressed by any of his work. same as last season, the second dj was brought back into the game I knew they were going to reward him once again. dj shits on freddie for risks he's allowed to get away with. crazy that gian isn't an ink master but bobby is. it's not fun knowing who is going to win from day one.
Oh, and by the way, Freddie, I love your clothing style, it is exquisite, and so fun, much like your art style, and I wish you'd collab with a clothing line to launch clothing items, please please please!

I love the "duplicated" areas of Freddie's art (tattoos), it reminds me of sikscreens, or lino prints.

As a women, I found the black and grey tattoo of the angry women so beautiful and intriguing. I couldn’t look away and in a sense I’m like “man I get it” but maybe that would be uncomfortable for a straight man. And honestly when I see a nude women on a man I always just roll my eyes a little bit too. Not this.

I've been wanting to get a new tattoo for a while but never knew how to portray it to an artist, until i saw freddies work. I would love to get a tattoo from him!! I want to see what he would do with ideas! Saving up now!

Ryan mentioned naming Freddie's style of tattoos. I've a suggestion, "Kintsugi" which is a Japanese art form of highlighting imperfections and or mending broken areas which is seen in his art form and style to my eye.

Freddie deserved the win hands down. He pushed the boundaries and thought outside the box. Isn't that what Ink Master wants? Instead of the same basically. Ryan and Nico are two of the best judges on the show and they appreciated it. He should of won.

I thought Freddy was going to win, but I loved the entirety of the season. I’m excited to see the future for all of us-but I will definitely be keeping my eye out for Mr. Freddy, because he is very much an ink master!

This dude seems so genuine, awesome person to be around and a fantastic artist! This Ink master season was amazing! One of my favorites so far...but I know he deserved to win because his work is so outstanding and different from everything out there. It's like a painting you could only have done once, it's a true really unique style! No offense to Bobby tho because he's amazing and has beautiful artwork done but his tattoos are more art noveau style and can be found elsewhere while Freddie's are unique, you'll Get something never done by other artists.

None of the tattoos on the show were actually really bad, they’re just being compared to some insanely good artists. The judges just need something to pick at and they’re gonna find every little detail.

You have to see that Ryan and the other judges are pay to judge the work according to what they were asked and the time limit, and if they can't accomplish that, against the other competitors, then they have to critic them accordingly, even if we don't agree with the outcome.
And Ryan on this post elimination series because she's been graceful and very supportive of every single one of the eliminated artist, and she makes a point to make them see is not their art as whole but what the challenge was that make them be eliminated l. Is not two face or a slap in the face, is the game they accepted to play, and with this series, they try to make the audience see this artist are more than what they could show during the competition l

Guy is so damn talented. He should've won. Hands down. It's not often someone's art makes me feel like I haven't seen it before, thats what his does. Its so refreshing. It has that Wow! factor. I would be genuinely honored to wear his work. ❤ It genuinely upsets me that he was robbed. DJ was rooting for his friend and he was so hypocritical bc he won the previous year by doing a back piece that was unique and asymmetrical. He just wanted his friend to win, you can't be a judge and be biased dude.

very, very predictable season. from the first episode with all the judges so far up bobby's ass it was clear he was going to win with a clear guaranteed spot in the final 3. besides being competent I wasn't impressed by any of his work. same as last season, the second dj was brought back into the game I knew they were going to reward him once again. dj shits on freddie for risks he's allowed to get away with. crazy that gian isn't an ink master but bobby is. it's not fun knowing who is going to win from day one.

I have thought a lot about it and I agree with Ryan that Freddie should have a name for his style which doesn’t fit the boxes of any other tattoo style.
After a lot of research one of the best descriptive words, I feel represents his style is the word PASTICHE.
Pastiche means; composition of various sources or styles, POTPOURRI SYNTHESIS, using imagery or style of other artworks and infusing this into your own style, CREATING SOMETHING NEW BY IMITATING AND BLENDING STYLES OR THEMES FROM VARIOUS SOURCES.
