there is actually a slider in the options for how much the game handles your braking at the end of a stage, turning it to the lowest setting gives you full control over your stop
DiRT Rally 2.0 is one of my favorite racing games that I picked up on PC since my transition from console. Mastering Group B RWD is satisfying as hell and nothing really tops understanding weight distribution/car control. I highly recommend for those looking to purchase the game to turn off all assists (you can keep ABS & Time control braking on if you want) and get used to the feel of how cars react on certain road conditions.
This is by far the best review of this game Ive seen. You are the only one that brought up the annoyance of switching cars in free play mode. Keep it up man, subbed.

11:25 - I have all my assists off and it never breaks for me by the marshals. I flew past them many times (especially early on, or on a stage where there is little braking room), into them, etc. There is an assistance setting for both starts and ends.
Rally 2.0 is infuriating. You literally cannot win, even when you win, you cannot win. Because some swede has already beat you by 1.38 seconds in a gaming simulator that costs more than my ford fiesta ST!
