Houdini is the greatest magician ever. He paved the way for so greats that came after him. Great video Scott thank you for covering this! Peace out. ✌️
The guy is a hero of mine. Always got mixed messages on accessibility to his grave with the church being closed. I might make the hike up from PA. Thanks, Scott!
Love that beautiful old cemetery! Harry Houdini was an amazing artist with a sad ending. I thought his grave was in California but NY makes more sense as he lived there. Great job Scott!
FUN FACT - Here in Australia HH was the very first man ever to fly a plane !! It was in 1910. I went to a recreation in 2010. He was by any measure an extraordinarily talented man and the ultimate showman. 100% legend.
Another fun fact- in Australia there are frogs large enough to eat a grown adult. Thats something my friend told me but I feel like that definitely could be true
Great video! Many years ago I saw photos of HH's gravesite and the sculpture of his head had been taken. It was awesome to see that it has been replaced.Such a nice, respectful gesture to such a magnificent magician and honorable man.
Being he died on Halloween, we couldn't help but notice on the way to his grave, you passed a headstone that had Meyer Michael on it. Did anyone else instantly think of Michael Myers?
Hi Scott 🙋🏽. You really know how to choose a subject. Houdini is perfect so close to Halloween 🎃 Awesome Job ‼️ thanks again for sharing this with me ‼️
I was with my beloved in the mid eighties. We visited Houdini's grave. This video brought back memories for me. Seeing the road we traveled on, the gate was closed that day. We stood by the gate and viewed this plot. My beloved passed away about eight years after this eerie day. Our treasured memories live forever within.
I’m guessing you eventually found your car. 😂 The old cemeteries are cool and I bet extra creepy at night. I lived in NoLa and all the cemeteries there just exuded history. Loving the content you keep bringing us. Can’t wait for more!
How I wish I could do what you do. I live in Central Florida and enjoy going to St Augustine and looking at all of the very old grave stones. You are no longer allowed to walk thru the cemetery any longer. Years ago myself and a group of friends would go to long forgotten cemeteries and clean up the markers and pick up trash. I never had the chance to travel like you do so I just enjoy you videos instead. Thank you so very much.
Really interesting story and grave yard. They really are packed in there, I've never seen so many graves so close together. Houdini's family plot looks the same. They were either all very small people or they are buried on top of one another with separate headstones. Either way, very interesting. Thank you for sharing 😊
Wow Scotty. You did it again. Such a cool video. I have always been fascinated by Houdini. Read a few things about him. I always liked his gentle face and eyes. I did watch your last video about him and loved it. Also asked you to take us to his grave when you visited New York and here you are. You had to walk quite a lot to find the grave but I couldn’t help but smile when you said to us to sit on the couch while you walked looking for the grave which I was doing at the time. I felt really good going along with you to visit Harry and his families grave which was really beautiful and peaceful but sad. I don’t think I will ever be able to go there but have paid tribute through you. Thank you. Waiting to hear from you. Till then take care. Love from all of us. God Bless. ❤️🤗✌🏼💕
Haha I was laughing to myself thinking I have such a long walk ahead of me and I could film the entire thing. Make people really understand the work I put in Lolol. Love you Karen!
So awesome seeing Houdini's grave and how beautiful of a memorial grave stone for him and his family..it's sad that his wife couldn't have been placed by his side..awesome video once again Scott👍👍
Love your videos Scott. Very informative and Respectful. My new favourite Channel.Keep up the great work. New subscriber here from The land down under Australia 👍
I love the videos that you do. I like true crime stories but some are really heart breaking. Thanks for all of your hard work. I enjoy the traveling you do I'm seeing a lot of interesting places. Peace and love🙏❤
Jewish cemeteries are closed Fridays and Saturdays for Sabbath, and are closed for High Holidays like Yom Kippur. I'm a fan of Harry Houdini. Thank you for uploading.
My families funeral home in Detroit handled his remains and placed his body in his bronze prop coffin for its trip back to NY. Wm.R Hamilton Co. Building still there on Cass Ave Detroit.
Oh dude!! Back in the day I used to want to be a magician and made cool little like Criss Angel videos lol. Levitation and that. Card trick videos 😂. But man I used to find these Harry Houdini videos on TH-cam and try to study them. It’s interesting how they have their Graves kind of stacked up like that or alongside each other so close. No idea he was buried in NY either. Really cool! I just posted a gravesite video today too 😎👍👻🎃
Hi Scott what a cemetery very confusing for you definitely packed out I can understand how you could get lost but you found it in the end wow huge memorial wow people have left lots of things related to what he did one of a kind large plot of the family now you only have to find your any out it’s like a maze
When I went to Pardes Shalom Cemetery almost 5 years ago, to go visit Corey Haim's & Simone Sandler's graves, I got lost. My original intention was to first visit Simone & then visit Corey, but, by the time I found out where both of them were, I was much closer to Corey's grave, so I had to visit him first.

Yes,even modern Magicians like David Copperfield,Lance Burton and the Late Doug Henning said Houdini was a major influence on their Careers.

Scottie is the man bringing us non stop excellent content !!!!
He is the best
Tony Curtis did a marvelous job portraying Mr. Houdini, he even resembled him somewhat without the need for make-up.

You're always so determined and when unsure, you later back it up (i.e. his brother's death) huge Houdini plot! Awesome sauce!! 👍

Beautiful grave. Shame his wife couldn't be buried with him.
