I don't think my motor would work in a Fox Body. With my setup the Fox body would be to light for my hp and torque. Even with my SN95 I spin like crazy. It would be awesome to have a rocketship like that. I know that Vett wouldn't stand a chance. Now I do need to find a 8.8 rear and get my frame connectors on. Even though I'm all motor right now, I think I could give the Vett a better run.

I had a gt 500 and this car was no match for my 67 fastback with a 289. All but said the 67 put out 900 hp at the flywheel. The 500 would have gotten its feelings hurt.
How many years it took chevy corvette to win a LesMans race. Ford did win the LesMans few years later sorry for the mispelling if I did. Even though I love corvettes but I love mustangs more. It is weight of the cars and a excellent driver on the wheel what helps win a race not just high horsepower.

On a cool day at sea level with a good track a stock 5.0 with a 10 speed auto MIGHT break 12.0 at about 110. Average conditions they will run low to mid 12’s provided it hooks. Oh, I forgot your Mustang probably runs 9.50 on your computer screen.
