    My favorite thing about Mike is his consistency. Wether he’s training an Olympia winner or brand new lifter, he uses the same tone.

    I think a lot of pros could learn from this. There is always different ways of doing things. Sometimes they work better and sometimes they don’t, but you’ll never find out unless you try so big props for a seasoned veteran like Iain for looking to improve

    Weird how literally one of the top bodybuilders in the world (Iain) says how well this tore up his shoulder. Yet there’s lots of mr no name numbers in the comments discrediting it 😂
    I’ll incorporate all this into my next shoulders and biceps day. Been in a bit of a rut there.
    Thanks Mike

      This is all unnecessary bs, bodybuilding became such a funny gay asf sport. He was analysing his biceps preacher curls if it was rocket science.. maybe they want to sound an look like gurus but there is absolutely zero you can do wrong on a preacher curl machine as long you go full range of motion and don‘t rush and bounce. Did you ever saw a bodybuilder in the 90‘s overthink every exercise so much like today? This BS started all with charles glass

      @@physique1113 "maybe they want to sound an look like gurus"
      100000% - It's all a grift. This is how he positions himself as an authority figure and gets people to pay him, as if his training is on another level of consciousness. Dude told Iain to squeeze 3 fingers on the curl lmao. COME ON 😂. No science whatsoever that says there is any difference or anatomical advantage to that. It's such random nonsense that any smart person should be able to spot.
      But you know what? People buy it hook, line and sinker! Bodybuilders give him credibility with videos like this and his IG and training programs blew up. It pays off to needlessly make shit sound complicated.

      Why is it to late? Do I think it’s going to completely reshape my physique in 10 weeks? Ofcourse not. Do I think it can help start the process of improving certain areas I’ve had a hard time feeling (like chest and lower lats) then I’m all for it, never too late.

  • @musclemedicine_M.D
    @musclemedicine_M.D ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes ✅leaning forward a bit is a nice cue to keep clients from using ant delts (to roll the bar up) &/or hyper-extending low back (to assist w/ leverage) etc BUT anything that comes after “rocking” can be ignored. It’s useful if injured & want superspinatous ⬇️stressed during the initial 15deg (Esp when using heavier load) but w/ a healthy young pro using 25-30lb DB? 🤷‍♂️ wish Mike would explain to us slower folk the advantages?

      @@JohnnyG1nothing complicated about putting your body in the best position to hit a muscle. I also have 20 years of habits, and the habits I have have built the physique I have, which can be significantly improved. Why would I keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? Always open to learning and trying new things and searching for a better way to feel and target a muscle. The close mindedness of “they aren’t that complicated” is very limiting

  • @muhanadtayfour7992

    I like mike and his focus on the form , it elevates the quality of training , one note is he really doesn’t need to make all these pointers , it can really be overwhelming and honestly it is unnecessary , I saw so many videos with him by now and I think he maybe does it just to make a simple thing looks complicated , both pros and regular people can appreciate your way without making it so stressful , after all weight lifting and resistance exercise is simple no matter how many ways you wanna cut it.

    • @i27v1
      @i27v1  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I disagree, I think cueing all the time is very helpful and keeps u constantly focused on the cues and enforcing to build the good habits.
      I noticed when I wasn’t training with him it was all I could think about was the cues from how often he repeats them. And simply lifting weights may be simple, but for someone at my level who already has mastered “lifting weights” these cues of head and body position, speed out of the hole etc are what can be the difference from stagnancy and progression.
