No one did so much work in tabs to explain Knopfler's fingerpicking sequence. Five months, and with your help the song was learned. Now I move towards playing Sultans!

Love that bright full tone that you use to play so passionate that inspire me as a guitarist especially when you sound that lively solo where you really make your guitar sing!
I was struggling to understand his strumming rythm pattern...now i understand he uses a flamenco technique with the thumb and index fingers! Thank you for the great lesson👍
up down up (raking muting down), up down up (down), up down up is how I was explained. up down up with a scratchy down at the end to bridge to the next part

This vid is the shit, love what you do. After playing for 37 years i’m finally learning this song with your help coupled with a guitar for the practicing musician issue from way back, yes i’ve got issues going back to 84. In a few places, there are some positional differences from the way you play it I favor, but that’s just a matter of personal taste. It’s actually a pretty easy song to play, the rhythm and solos and all the fills, pretty easy stuff, but… tasty as all fuck. Mark is a fucking genius for this song alone, never mind all those other hits he wrote.
Very articulate cover my man. The telecaster and your fingerstyle playing really do it justice. Awesome job.

Just a couple of very minor things I noticed in the tab: third note of bar 67 show fret 7 (F#) on the B string, I believe it should be fret 8 (G) which matches the fingering. Similar thing in bar 113. Bar 169 shows it correctly.
Really appreciate the time, effort and fabulous playing you obviously put into these.
