Hey Guys! I decided to do this song because of all the requests and also because this was an easier choice considering my wrist issues. I'm still taking it a little easy because I am experiencing carpal tunnel and I'm waiting to hear back from doctors on my next plan of action. I want to thank you all for the tremendous support throughout this.
Based on the requests, I tabbed out the studio version and I really enjoyed this. But I realized afterwards that there were many who requested the live version. My question to you is: Do you think Knopfler did this better live or in the studio? Leave a comment below!

Knopfler (and Gilmour) are two of those guitar gods that don’t need all kind of fancy arpeggios and speed runs: their feel for melody (what music is all about) is out of this world🎉
But this whole thing is based on arpeggios, a big part of knopfler's playing!

Nice playing, I'll simply add Mark Knopler's guitar playing is surely the most beautiful and sublime sound in all of music and Brothers in Arms musically and lyrically his masterpiece. Another lesser known breathtaking piece is You and your Friends, the duelling guitars.
Just got to "Two Cathedrals" last night on my umpteenth re-watch of The West Wing. This song plays at the end of the episode in the climax of the season finale.

The beauty of the guitar part is due in no small part of what the underlying chord progression is doing - maybe just for this track, it would be cool to have the chord names added to the tab to really appreciate the musicality.

For all tones and effects I use software called Amplitube Max. This software contains many virtual amps and pedals. The plug-ins are available to all my Patreon subscribers so you that if you have Amplitube Max yourself, you can get exactly the same tone as me at home. I also offer screenshots of the virtual amps and pedals so that if you don’t have Amplitube you can attempt to replicate the tone using whatever equipment you have available.
