its great. Maybe it is not same sound exactly of guitar, but its almost there. I am not musician so cant tell why. I think guitar sound is a bit muffled sound compared to studio version but I think it could be tuned. Anyway, great solo.

Every time I hear this I want to give it another uptick. Fabulous rendition of a timeless classic.
We can learn a lot from this man. The way he adds in his own kind of flavor, and sooo smooth.
I did this in my music school for one of my exams. This wasn't easy, it's a tricky little ditty, and man you played that so spot on and perfect. Thumbs up man, you are brilliant!!!!
Nevermind learning all the sections of the solos here, how about the fact that I always play with a pick except maybe for some acoustic picking work in my 30 years of
guitar playing? It's like learning a whole new style of playing, not just the solos themselves. The basic rhythm chords in Sultans are easy, otherwise.
He did the base guitar and the solo guitar, playing solo, and it sounds perfectly, this is really amazing

I've listened to all sorts of guitar players play this song because it's my favorite from Diar Straits and this guy is by far the best I've ever heard. For all the dislikes, they just don't know music

This is great, if I was being super picky there are some notes missing but on the whole the playing, tone, vibrato and everything was spot on. Playing it like Mark does with his fingers just gives it that extra dimension of realism. Well done!

I recommend you to visit Everest Base Camp, trek to Langtang, a trek to Tilicho Lake.
These three spots are just beautiful.
