    Appreciate your detailed review and honest feedback.
    I think I'll pick up this up along with some entry level ceramic plates then eventually upgrade to a genuine JPC 2.0 and Hesco plates...

      Thanks for the comment. Something is better than nothing is the way I look at it. You might even consider looking at the AR500 website, they do a lot of packaged deals and at least they are a middle grade compromise which the plates won’t have a shelf life and upgrade when you can, then that kit can go into a vehicle or a significant other to use. Black Friday deals might peek an interest soon.

      @@ProjectAnubisUSA Its obviously not meant as body armor. Its extremely dangerous for your and your bystanders. Don't recommend dèath in plate format.

      @@aesthetic8780 don’t see why not… it is just a cover waiting for plates…any need for blast mitigation is absorbed by the paxcon style plate coating. it’s for airsoft but can work for home users that will hopefully never need it.

      Unsure how they are made now, I know I seen some strap color changes. My pouch flap was removable, hook in loop, and mollied in.

    Foam plates seem to have a tight fit in plate carriers, I’ve put foam plates in 3 ar500 plate carriers and the foam has been a tight fit compared to lvl 3 plates.

    • @ProjectAnubisUSA
      @ProjectAnubisUSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, I had the same issue with my real steel setup which I believe are 3/8" thick curved. I think Level 4 might be equal to the foam plates I just don't have level 4 to compare.

    • @EthanCmsrc108
      @EthanCmsrc108 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ProjectAnubisUSA yeah, lvl 4 are thick af, and I don’t think civilians can have lvl 4 plates

      @ProjectAnubisUSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EthanCmsrc108 You can purchase ceramic plates depending on state (if you live in the USA) I believe is the only regulations. The only issue is the recommended expiration dates for the resins/glues use and the expense.

    Sorry. Could you confirm i can use it with 10*12 plates ?

    • @ProjectAnubisUSA
      @ProjectAnubisUSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I could fit my steel plates and fiberglass into it tight. I think the biggest issue is its a light duty design (ar680 steel would not be good for battle use maybe okay if you need it in a pinch) but I would recommend kevlar inserts or the composite type like fiberglass or carbonfiber inserts due to weight and thinness. I don't think level 4 will fit.

    How’s this plate carrier holding up? I’m looking to make a budget friendly kit and wondered if I should bother with this company

    • @ProjectAnubisUSA
      @ProjectAnubisUSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you plan to use it a lot and run steel plates get a actual real brand like crye. The steel plates are rough on the single panel fabric but will work for mild use. If you plan to use it once in a blue moon or for milsim with fake or esapi / sapi (might not fit too thick) plates this is fine. Any milsim plate carrier will be made similar and lightweight. LBX has larger pockets and sizes because LBT is the parent company. the heavy-duty built ones will cost similar to the real deal so might as well buy the real one at that point.
      Hope this helps
