But I must admit, if you give a bunch of monkeys phones and enough time, they might very well phone a random stranger. There was a time where a lot of teens had guns that they brought to school so they could go hunting right after. Next to no school shootings. Now guns are strictly forbidden on school property and wouldn’t you know there’s a depressing amount of school shootings. Forgive me for not believing the problem is our ability to own and carry guns.

Yet Iceland has a high Gun ownership to population ratio and has 0 deaths by guns each year.
The UK has/had a huge knife crime issue.
The police cracked down on deadly knife ownership, knife crime went down and at the same time other violent crimes went up.
