Anger can be considered as an opposite of sadness, like sadness is sorts of a passive anger. So maybe if BD and YD fuse, they will balance each other emotions and Green Diamond will turn out completely stable.

R K i agree. I see happiness and sadness as opposites and content and anger as opposites as well. I feel like that fusion would be as unstable as malachite. For example Lapis was depressing and Jasper was angry. It would be chaotic. Just my thoughts :)

The Crewniverse said that they'd be a bigger Pearl with mixed colors. That could be green, but it could also be the fusion having both blue and yellow on it. And considering the Pearls aren't actually called Yellow and Blue Pearl, the fusion name would probably just be Pearl as well.

Bipolar Disorder (Also known as Manic Depression) is a Depressive Disorder where there will be periods of depression and mania (Mania being the polar opposite if depression. It still causes lots of problems like god complexes and being over zealous and paranoid and things like reckless actions and thinking so highly of yourself that you disregard others.)
The cycle can be different among different people with Bipolar Disorder. Someone could be depressed for a whole year and manic for the next and depressed for the next and so on, so on. Someone could be depressed for a two months and manic for only one. If you have three or more switches in a year (So let's say you're manic, depressed, and manic again all in one year), it's called rapid cycling.

I think that if they fused, it would be in a consoling moment. Not like they normally have, but like. THE healing moment y’know? Blue finally just feels better about the situation because yellow says the right combination of words for once. And they honestly just feel love for once and fuse. And I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be sibs or like parental figures for a certain tiny diamond(different topic) but I’ve always shipped green diamond. And I’m so eager to see it happen this way.
I feel like after what happened in Future they’ll be more emotionally stable and their relationship with each other would be better so I feel like Green Diamond would be a more stable fusion now

I like to think that Yellow and Blue fusion will resemble them healing emotionally and resemble their love for each other and Pink Diamond. It will happen towards the end once they are both able to heal.

SliceofOtaku , so I have just come to conclusion that the mystery girl in Steven Universe is Pink Pearl! Which is why both pearls had a connection. Also, the mystery girl my have changed forms because if the two diamonds found out that she was still alive, they would want to know how Pink Diamond was shattered. Maybe Pink Pearl was there to see it and would not like to share. But besides that, since the mysterious girl gave Pearl her phone number, she might appear in future episodes that will conclude in the mystery girl revealing her true identity and "S." may end up being the first letter of her secret identity. If you read this comment, know that I have come up with it myself and I would love to see a video about my interesting theory. :)

I think that everyone has missed a little bit of a tease for green diamond. When Jasper and Peridot came to earth, both wore uniforms that indicated they worked under Yellow diamond, but the ship they arrived in was a Green Arm! as we see from the episode, 'The Zoo', we see that each diamond has their own ship that is shaped like an arm and in their colors. So why did these two gems, who were basically on a fact finding mission to see the status of the cluster, have a whole arm shaped ship. Yet later we see the five rubies who are searching for jasper later have this tiny ship. As we know, Steven universe doesn't have consequences, so there must be a reason that these two gems got a diamond ship, that was green.

ShadowFry There is some basis for this theory, but I personally believe that all the evidence presented for this theory (such as Cyan, Pink, and Yellow combining to make White) is based off of an old concept for the show. I think originally Rebecca Sugar had Pink, Blue, and Yellow Diamond fuse to create White Diamond, but scraped the idea as it didn't follow the themes of the show or just didn't fit the story she wanted to tell.

Yes but that doesn't mean that has to count for everything. It can match but they can give extra symbolization to it and thus decide to depict white diamond with the gem on the forehead.

i honestly feel white diamond IS a fusion between the three pink yellow and blue. gems are made of light. and via LIGHT THEORY not COLOR theory you get WHITE. but you can ALSO make WHITE via a LIGHT BLUE AND DEEP YELLOW.

It cannot be possible because:
1) We have seen in the murals that White Diamond has her gem on the forehead and no other Diamond has it.
2) If White Diamond was a fusion with Pink, Yellow and Blue she couldn't appear anymore because Pink Diamond is died, and since she cannot be formed anymore her symbol shouldn't appear on the Diamond Authority logo because Blue and Yellow together make green and not white :)

here's a theory the reason why they discourage fusion is not only because gems get stronger but a gem can get the same power as a diamond. The void or white light is a product of said power the diamonds are able to emit when fused.
