Your first ornate find looks like it could’ve been from an old firearm. It looks as though it hinged at one point perhaps could be from an old flintlock. Germany has a wonderful rich history and being able to detect there is a gift for sure. Thanks for sharing another video with us.
@Everything. We can't detect everywhere in Germany. There are limits. But you can get a permit for the good sites. In Bavaria, where I am. I have to do a protocol on every item I find in this spots with GPS koordinates and item description. and you need the ok from the land owner
Love the small pin badge and the real German money. So much better than the euro money. The brass or bronze piece does look like a trigger from a musket, if not a real firearm then maybe a fancy toy musket.
my viewer Lenka72 gave me the solution. it's part of an old scale. the piece I found it one of two. when the scale is in balance the two screwdriver looking ends are at the same height facing one another. thank you for sharing your thoughts anyways my friend :)
I watched this Nr.185 with my earbuds in. I have to tell you Hans...hearing the metal detector swipe through the blades of grass, the detailed chirping of the birds, and hearing you breathe in excitement made this video more of an in depth experience for me. I'm always looking forward to your next video!!
Im happy to hear that you like my audio work. Im still trying to improve it as it is very important for video quality. Thank you for staying tuned and for your support my friend 😊
Thanks, Hans....a beautiful video....always a pleasure to accompany you in the field. That very first piece, the ornate one, has the look of something from an old flintlock or matchlock muskey
I could sense the emotion in your voice when digging up the HJ pin. Of course it represents a very dark period in history, but it is history nonetheless - we can all be thankful that we will never find new items of that genre. I enjoy your videos very much Hans - you’re a good guy and it’s a pleasure to share your enthusiasm and experiences.
I know what he is feeling. I was working at the airport here in Spokane Washington and on the cargo road, I found a hand full of Third Reich postage stamps with Hitler's face on them. I was going to burn them but I still have them to explain how evil that man and his minions were back then to the youth today. I was stationed with the USAF in Germany and many of the older people who were in the war had the same feelings as he did. One older man I knew in Bremerhaven Who I called a dear friend and a wonderful person was one of few who survived being in a U-Boat. He owned a bar there and many in the military who went there loved and respected Walter and his family. Yes, it was a dark time for them but with a lot of help this time around they came out doing much better.

Diese Silbermark hatte ich dieses Jahr auch das erste Mal unter der Spule. Meine war allerdings fast komplett schwarz angelaufen. Schöne Wiese, die sicher noch ein breites Fundspektrum bieten kann. 👍
Beautiful video, beautiful country! Congratulations on your silver. I really want to thank you making your videos, its alot of work and your efforts show. I like taking the journey with you, but you all the walking, haha! Take Care my friend, happy hunting, beste, Anna
my pleasure, anna :) I wish I could upload more frequently. haha.. you can't imagine how exhausting it can be to drag all my gear to the fields. I often can't park close to the sites I'm detecting. take care too and all the best to you my friend :)
Always this beautiful image quality, framing, your videos are beautiful to watch and the content very interesting... Plus there’s a peaceful, soothing side to watching them. Thank you. Keep it up!

Yes. I googled 'ornate musket hammer' then 'images' and found some similar, although not identical looking musket and gun hammers. Also try: 'ornate old pistol hammer', images and 'ornate flintlock hammer', 'matchlock hammer' and 'wheel lock' hammers.

Gerne mehr davon, Hans, best wishes and good luck !

A little trick I’ve learned to avoid bottle caps while using my Deus…. try lifting your coil as you swing over a target and if the vdi numbers drop significantly by 5-10 numbers it’s most likely garbage, if it holds or drops by only 2-4 numbers it’s most likely precious metal. Great video! GL&HH!!
Happy to see you again. I always enjoy the parts of nature you share. I like to hear about the bits of history and the finds you share are always a pleasure.
Great finds. Lovely scenery. Excellent editing and, as always, the lively Noto Bene. One of these days, I'll figure out how to get that music for my library (time to ask my nieces in Germany for a favor). Thank you!
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear you like my videos and the music. you can write an email to: info@notabene.de saying that you are interested in their music. they will give you an account number where you can transfer a very fair amount of money. as soon as the money has arrived they will send you a code for "We transfer." thank you for watching!
Hi Hans, your hunts are the best and your ability to video amazes me. Maybe one day you can do a video on how you video. Just a suggestion. Your friend, Harold from Athens, Georgia….USA

I was gonna say the same thing looks like the lever you put your thumb back on a flintlock musket

@@michi24580 Those procedures strike me as being reasonable. Does the "every item" include obvious modern junk like the bottle caps that Hans found?
Definitely looks like the flintlock from s pistol or musket
I have 40+ years of metal detecting under my belt but I can't fathom out what the item is either. 🤔. One for the experts. 😃.
I did enjoy the video very much. How nice finding a silver coin. Your fan from East Tennessee, USA.

Vielen Dank mein Freund :)
Another great day afield, my friend! Thank you for allowing me to join you..

@@stevejudge7364 I am enjoying a couple days off from work. Rest is always a good thing.
I used to give DM to the totto lotto man and he sold us candy from his VW bus. My mom bought vegetables from him in the housing area.
