Dark Souls 1 had the best RTR effect for me. 50% damage with the downside of being one shotted by anything was fun. Later on in the series they butchered it by giving only 20% more damage
@@GeoGames_Dev Yeah makes sense, I've never bothered with it in the later games so I assumed it was the same in DS1, but 50% sounds like an actual appropriate damage boost from being one hit away from death haha
@@derrickdavis5390 And not only that, later on in the series there's a ring that gives you the 20% boost if your health is full, which is ez to maintain ( you can even use estus to set up the ring again ) so RTR is not worth unless you had something specific in mind
